1. Got a pic to share? Will be easier to tell
 2. Equilibrium = balance Ur tank need to reach a balance before you should start loading delicate stuff... But since already loaded..... Pray....
 3. Hahaha... The things sm people do...
 4. To add or not really up to u.

Imho, more livestock = more nutrients = more algae...

If u can control the nutrients i dun see any issues, but if u cant its another nutrient factory for u...

7 urchins like abit overboard though
 5. 10ppm actually using high quality salt and multiple changes should be able to support... Take into consideration everytime u wc u r topping up also so u might want to "less off" the dosing to account for water change...

Mg + ca + kh about 600+ml/day to maintain approx 1380,420 & 7.5 respectively...
 6. Agree... Only when necessary... But when the time comes, a dosing pump will be more ideal vs manual...

My dosing helps to replace evaporated water and acts like my ato but thats also only possible as my dosing amt is gg thru the roof now... Sigh...
 7. Ya alot of times sps i tot dead but suddenly one day they decide to recover... No pe, turn brown time can heal... Unless of course total tissue lost and see bone, u really never know
 8. Start by removing ur long algae la... Dun think u will like brown sticks in ur tank anyway... Turning brown or colouring up dun happen over night... Picture weeks to months... Esp for colouring up i dun think happen over a few days...
 9. Lol... And like women, sometimes giving them too much attention will spoil them... Worse, u start getting sick of them... Hahaha...

Anyway also watch out for "burnt" tips due to over dose... Burn as in white with no polyps... No like new growth
 10. Set up dosing pump lor... Long term solution and provide more constant regular replenishment
 11. Btw, unless u 110% confirm dead may not necessary have lost all hope... Smthg similar happened to me previously when my office tank lost power for 3 days over a long weekend... Monday came in smell like shit, did water change, threw out obvious dead ones, change media, continue dosing bac and within a week all was better... It will be fine bro! Reef on!
 12. Haha... I normally just mix, dose and test... From there i know how much more to dose liao...

But anyway good info and research... If i remembered correctly the label on the shelf states CaCl but urs like more scientific
 13. Might wanna check before dosing... I use another brand so i dose base on what i need to increase k levels...

Yup seems like really unique case, updates will be good:)
 14. Good review... For me i havent used the AI before but like my g1 radion w TIR n now changing to pro... So far so good...

Anyway regarding the 3 buttons, it can actually be disabled by going into the ecosmart app... All other programing can be done via a simple usb link to ur pc/laptop...

Hope this helps...
 15. Did u check ur K levels before dosing?

Interesting case... I understand the turning white cos not facing light but sloughing off is smthg very new
 16. My condolences for ur loss... I would suggest setting it straight to 27C... Better to quickly bring them to comfort zone rather then prolong their suffering...

17. Ice probe (or smthg) not sure if it works though... Saw before sm1 use but i neber use b4...

Try to keep temp fluctuations as minimal as possible... Ur pump maybe change to vortech or equivalent whereby the pump is outside... That will prevent temp build up inside ur tank bro..
 18. GFO, bio pellet, etc, use them properly, replace accordingly, etc
 19. Hmm... U not running achiller? Wave quite important if u intent to keep sps bro
 20. New water conditions, unhealthy frag, parameters diff from previous, etc...
 21. Stability... Patience... Knowledge...

22. patience is key!

Sort out ur nutrients... Ur test kits only provide u with results of inorganic nutrients... Organic nutrients are easily absorb by algae which u have to manually remove and put necessary media to absorb them together with proper husbandry skill to maintain...

Good luck as usual
 23.

Then do a restart again? Hahaha... Like i said before, be kind to animals, even corals... They also a life, get ur tank stable and ready before u start putting anything, else it will be a ever occurring process... Sigh...
