Macro has 2 different models .......1 is a needle wheel the other is venturi. What I'm saying is that the needle wheel is more efficent than the venturi. If you reall want a very good skimmer then buy a beckett driven.

Would suggest you look for better type of skimmer. If there are none available then Macro will have to do.....buy 1 that uses a needle wheel impeller. It is more efficient than the venturi model. Also choose the largest available unit....

Tanzy also don't change all his water at one go.... It much easier to change water like this as all you have to do is to turn on the pump. Imagine using a scoop

sps can kill each other too. different species cannot touch each other too but different colour of the same species can -
