iphone version would be really a good one to look into, i carry my iphone and log onto various website when i go LFSing, just so that i won't buy due to pretty colors and realise i cant keep them for long. But the problem is sometimes, the loading speed is not ideal, or some of these websites only have scientific names at thats all Back on track, What's new at ah beng? -
Can I clarify if the white belly yellow wrasse also include coco and featerduster worms as their diet? Am keen to add them into the tank but i have some featherdusters. cheers

I was also looking for LED, desi and ketchup do have some experience with the first generation of ecolamp LED in the market are still rather expensive, unless you are thinking of DIY which though is cheaper than the commercial brands, is still expensive. The expensive commercial toys come with some nifty gadgets like sunset/sun rise mode etc. I met a really nice guy at IWarna that shared with me some thoughts on LED and he said I could discuss more at Iwarna, i think the guys there help to customise LEDs. As for me, I am still undecided zzz

Thank you for sharing your experience. If you don't mind, I would like to ask a few more questions 1) When you bought your yellow watchman and tiger pistol, did they come together as a pair? OR did you acquire them separately? 2) Did your tiger pistol harass your sexys? Saw some videos on how pistol shrimps hunt skunks thanks for your time!

Hi fellow hobbyist recently I am very interested in commensal relationships in a reeftank. Am thinking of acquiring a goby/pistol pair, but I am just wondering would the pistol attack my coco/featherduster worms? Is is a part of their natural diet assuming the worms are the smaller sizes type and not those larger species. thanks a million.

Anyone knows if we have any gurus here in Singapore that does such DIY feeding systems? So far I have only found commercial units that cultivate and dose plankton (grotech plankton reactor).

Anyone knows where is a good place where I could source for a good variety of cleaner crews? Especially invertebrates -
reef safe even for tubeworms and LPS etc? I like the longnose very much, but I heard stories, sorry to hijack your thread for clarifications

I think the greatest challenge to Azoox is feeding Could you share with us some of your experience or knowledge in this particular area? 1) What do these corals feed on in the wild? 2) Are there any off the shelf brands that is able to subsititue what nature offers them? 3) Is it more cost effective to breed phytoplankton and various pods to feed them? 4) Is there commercial brand system that helps us to breed such food? 5) Any automated system that is able to store off the shelf brands food and dose them into the tank? I have seen those DIY mini fridge syringe pump system, wonder is that available commercially or if any gurus in Singapore is doing and selling them. I am sorry for the rude barrage of questions, but it's kinda hard to search for these information as I think this is still a rather unexplored venture for home aquarist like us Thank you so much for helping us in this

Hi peeps need help with noise!!
puppet replied to bugattilambo's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
I had the same guggling sounds as mentioned by some of you guys. I turned the valve to allow lesser water from gushing down. This solves the problem temporary as the water level in the overflow rises up, I realised the guggling sound was due to air entering the durso piping and that is due to the fact that the water level in the overflow is very close to the inlet of the pipe. However the problem came back, I realised as I close the valve to allow lesser water from gushing down, the water level in the overflow does rise up for a while, then it will drop down to the level of the pipe, this again causes the guggling sound. Then after a while the water will rise again. This process keeps repeating itself. Any masters here is able to help me identify the problem and rectify it? many thanks and a happy new year
