I am referring to the old LED cluster. Do they take it back and replace with a new one for us?
-
Sounds logical because I saw them playing with sandbed at LFS. Mine sleep on tank bottom (literally lying down one sided), "naked" instead of hiding under the sand. Even my Yasha Goby die for no apparent reason despite eating well and swim around middle section to grab for food.

I have added 3 yellow wrasses but they died for no apparent reason that I can think of. Eating healthy and just died out of sudden. Will try my luck again and add few more. Any particular wrasse that you can recommend?

Cant wait but the upgrade price is on the high side :S..Do they give us back the old LED/Lens or trade-in?

I am using full zeovit with radion led. I got it from Malaysia LFS (ReefAltech). I understand that he import directly.

I just spray with strong waterjet. No point using bleach because it will get all dirty again in 3+ days like what zonerx said.

@honkit - Almost all of corals are dipped into Coral RX or FM Flatworm Exit. Majority are bought from fellow reefers in frag form. My mistake is to add the mariculture colony specimen without dipping into either solution. It looks healthy and recover from shipping (over a week in LFS) and I assume that piece is safe from pest. Obviously I am wrong and that piece introduce aefw into my tank. Little do I expect to get hit by aefw. I keep on meddling with light intensity, thinking that my corals bleach due to light issue which escalate the damage to higher level. Well, I take it as expensive lesson and will be more cautious before adding in new corals.

i kept 3 yellow wrasse and it is not helping at all. I am starving aefw now and will be more careful before adding new sps.

They did at first but nothing serious except a little torn tail (only 2 fight among each other leaving the 3rd one alone). However, they seem to get along now and I don't see any torn tail anymore. Probably got bored of fighting.

Some updated pic... Currently battling with aefw which consume 70% of my SPS. Expensive lesson learned. Nevertheless, remaining corals are doing alright now and no new corals until everything stabilize again. Tank inhabitants consist of: 1 x Yellow tang 1 x Blue eye tang (aka 2 spot bristletooth tang) 2 x Black ice clownfish 9 x Blue eye anthias (lyretail anthias) 2 x Dispar anthias 3 x Orchid dottyback 1 x Cleaner wrasse 2 x Cleaner shrimp ? x Turbo snails 4 x RBTA SPS, Acans, Chalice, Xenia, Fiji pipe organ, Golden clove. Top shot. Additional compartment to to keep sump area as clean as possible for easier maintenance. 2 x Ecotech radion power supply (bolted to the center wood support) 1 x Ecotech battery backup (bolted to the back portion of wood support) Mixing tank and top up tank are on the bottom section.

Peppermint will eat all your aiptasia after few days of introduction. However, mine decided to go overboard and eat acans after the only single aiptasia got munch down completely.. On top of that, they also pick on my radioactive birdnest. I guess if you don't have enough food for them, they will go and eat something else. Your tank is pretty shallow so no harm giving it a try. After all, you can easily remove them later.

Maybe you can check Iwarna..I remember they have Platinum clown

can mix harlequin with blood shrimp?

3) 1 regal angle or majestic angle or purple tang or powder blue tang or pacific blue tang (1 focal point, a king of the tank) Tank might be too small them unless you bought small size and trade them off when it grow bigger. dwarf angel is suitable, ie Flame Angel and 1 S size Purple/powder blue (prone to ich) or Pacific blue (Trade off when they grow bigger).

Newbie macro shot... Neon Green Millepora. Initial color is brown. Currently tip turning blue. Initial color is white. Currently tip turning sky blue. Just gotten this over the week from Joe @ Iwarna. Color was great at his place but now slightly pale. Probably due to long journey. One of the earliest livestock. Pink Bubble Tip Anenome. Rose Bubble Tip Anenome Don't know why but this little RBTA decided to come out and stick to the clam after hiding in the cave for a week. Match made in heaven?
