Hi all, Need advice on the fishes that I should totally avoid if I intand to keep a tank populated with wrasse. I had bad experience with hogfish (I checked online that say this fish is peaceful but it chased and bit my wrasse to death or force them to jump.) Would very much appreciate your views and advices. Thanks in advance..

Hi all, I'm wondering if it's true... What makes the flame angel the most popular so called "long" distance fish here? Is it because of it's price, a very hardy fish or it's beauty? At the same time I wish to know if there are other long distance angel that is comparable to flame angel in terms of price and hardy? Thanks a million for your inputs.

Any hardy African fish for beginners?
sanhas replied to sanhas's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
Thanks again to Digiman and Iskay for the advices. As for my damsels, I've donated a lot to my uncle. Hehe. Left only 2 pieces that I quite like. Not sure if it's exotic. Probably not cause it's cheap. It's the type where the top and bottom of the body is yellow and the main part are blue. Always like to spread it's top fin. Also it's very very hardy. Just came back from 10days holidays and the food timer finished Still survive. As for the Midas recommended by Digiman, I'll definitely give it a shot the next time it comes. Thanks. -

Very nice recommendation and wanted to buy the flameback but aunty say better don't cause I have damsel. Same size so might attack the flameback. Anyway didn't see the Midas n clownfish. Are these 2 more expensive than flameback? Thanks. -

Hi all. Another query. What if the fish that I want to catch is not the greedy type. The one that just relax even during feeding time. Thanks. -

Thanks to lemonlemon and digiman. Actually, I've quite a number of fishes from indon and Hawaii shipment so would like to try 1 from Africa if it's not too expensive. I've google the recommended fish by lemonlemon. Looks nice on the photo. I'll see the price. If it's beyond my means... I'll definitely buy it. Thanks again. -

Thanks to Thairun for all the tips and forbids me from buying his frags cause he knew my system is not ready yet. I think he is the only seller that honest enough not to sell his products to a buyer. At least for all those that I've met before. Seeing his main tanks and sps can make me orgasm. I really hope to be able to come again n buy his sps.

Hi, would like to know if all these corals needs a dim blue led to do well?
-
Hi, I've always bought a new fish and introduce it to the community tank. After reading some of the topics, it is said that best to quarantine new fish first before introduce to the whole community. How long should I separate these fishes and will it be more stress if I put it in a small box inside the main tank? Thanks in advance....

I google this eel and sure it look fierce and beautiful. The looks also tell me that it will cost a bomb. Anyway, thanks for the info. For now I just need to take care of my current 2 eels and watch out for any missing fish in my tank. Anyway where is lck?
-
Thanks to all that share ur knowledge and experiences. Anyway, for now my eels are still in the tank. Cannot catch them with all the corals and rocks in it. Anyway, it's true that the snowflake is good jumper. Already jump on its first day. Very scary experience to catch it back on the floor. For now both starts to eat once I dip a prawn meat in the tank. As for fatality for my fishes, so far none that I've seen. FYI the other eel that I have is zebra. Love to see they move

Thanks for the replies. Too bad kinda of chimz for me. Too amateur to go so deep. Might even consider giving up if another crash happen to my tank. Many thanks again
