  1. the interruptus from Reborn is just simply gorgeous, and they are fat too! Really wish I can get 1, haha. The wrought iron is bout 6 inch, 2 pcs there. plenty of elegant blennies, and the cheery anthias are sweeee too! LCK : the colors of the hooded is simply riotous ! colors seen on the screen are like the real life specimen. Best of all, most are feeding on pellets already!
  2. so many fishes, so little money.

  3. lol, don't want to spoil the fun, clue: red and white are the colors of the flag. Lemon : i'm sure you would have known this way back. haha.
  4. oh my.. such a hidden dragon siah this bro wilson! lol.
  5. upz, price down to $780 or any reasonable offer, need to clear this fast.
  6. reborn updates: Redsea shipment postponed! however there's still exciting/expensive shipment coming.
  7. hmm is it just my current PC or that the forum headings are now suddenly all centered? *dizzy*

  8. eh.. bro who u calling sis? lol, think my gender is specified under my avatar!!! anyway, below pics: from left to right, all live rocks, and the last pic are considered dead rocks (ie. baked till become white, however can be "live" again). try googling, you'll see Tonga Branches are not cheap, and there's alot from Indon that looks really nice too, but you might wanna first ask what you wanna keep, cos might have limitations on coral placement compared to flat pieces. Coraline algae doesn't grow w/o water and time, so if it contains coraline algae chances are that it is already a live rock, but careful of the pest/parasite that may embed on newly purchased live rocks, such as pest anemones, crabs, etc, that's y some ppl prefer baking their live rocks completely b4 using them, however doing so will also kill off any bacteria/pods that resides in it. If your want a giant type of branch like rocks, y not try getting various branches and combine them together to make it look like a bigger piece? Hope it helps.
  9. a brand new pump alone would have cost about 1.3-1.5k, excluding items from 2-6, so it's really a very good deal.
  10. hi bro, u might wanna check on the flowcharts of the pump normally graphed on the box of the pump, showing the flowrate per distance. Hope it helps, but don't think we can safely trust the flow chart as it is assuming a straight line distance w/o the bends (ie. 90 degree elbow joint etc). Your distance sounds really long, think u'll need an extremely powerful pump.
  11. thanks bro, how's your tank coming along man!? start your tank thread soon pls! haha
  12. dude, with my limited reefing knowledge. If these dead skeletons have been baked under the sun to an extend till they turn white; that's Dead Rock. Or man-made fiber glass rocks from GO. those dead skeletons of large SPS etc with lotsa small holes are used to house the beneficial bacteria with growing micro organisms etc are considered hence live rock. (ie. darkish color or coralline encrusted rocks etc, from established tank, or straight from the sea [ie. Fiji live rocks]) However, dried up white rocks can still become live again with bacteria dosing or using rotten prawn to culture such bacteria. Hope this helps

  14. Hi bros/sis, Want to sell Deltec 8070S Standard Pump Set: 1) Deltec 8070S Standard return pump (8400l/hr) 2) Sump that now houses the pump 106.5cm (L) x 50cm (B ) x 46cm (H) w/ 4 compartments 3) +gf+ check valve for the pump (XL size) 4) +gf+ ball valve for the pump (XL size) 5) +gf+ unions and other parts for the sump/pump 6) FOC delivery to your place This pump is renown to have extremely low headloss rate. Absolutely nothing wrong with this highly efficient pump, just that I need to get another pump with higher flow rate and the money to redo my sump. Case of this pump breaking down is relatively unheard, and it's a very durable pump from ppl who used it! Currently running on 3x90 degree elbow joint, 1x 90 degree curve joint and 1x45degree joint, from the cabinet to the actual return in to the tank. so definitely more power flow when using lesser joints. Feel free to drop by for no obligation viewing and put your hands in to feel the strong flow that is coming out from it. Looking at about $800.00 (neg) or any reasonable offer for items 1-6!!! really very very good value for all the entire set with FOC delivery. Condition : 9.5/10 An almost plug and play set! Will clean up all items prior to delivery. Feel free to ask me any questions via SMS or PM @ 8112 3479 more details about the pump can be found @ http://www.theaquari.../hlp-8070s-pump details as follows: Features Deltec HLP Pumps are extremely quiet in operation. All Deltec HLP Pumps are protected by a thermic motor switch. Oxyd ceramic shafts and bearings run in water (hydrostatic bearings) and are therefore free of wear and tear. Max Flow Rate - 8400 lts (1866 G)Max Head - 7.8M Inlet/Suction - 40 mm Outlet/Pressure - 32 mm Height from the bottom of the pump base to outlet pipe center - 67mm Only drawing 158 Watts (better quality and power consumption than Eheim) Almost same size as an Eheim 1260
  15. upz, really good offer and easy plug and play upgrade.
  16. updates, will throw the following items FOC with purchase of this pump, so as to reduce the trouble and cost further! 1) 1 x +gf+ check valve 2) 1 x +gf+ ball valve 3) +gf+ plumbing parts 4) 1x sump : 106.5cm (L) x 50cm (B ) x 46cm (H) w/ 4 compartments 5) FREE DELIVERY As seen in the pictures below, definitely very good pricing with all these items thrown in free! the sump is only about 3.5feet, can fit into most tank cabinet quite easily, and the cost of the check valve and ball valve of this size is a lot of savings already. The size of the pump is extremely small for its power, comparable to Eheim 1262 Will clean up all items prior to collection, thanks. Feel free to ask me any questions via sms @ 8112 3479 or pm
  17. beautiful SPS and tank man! my younger cousins just can't stop asking why is my current tank fishless, haha, hope yours don't bug u on it too.
  18. extremely nice wrasse there, have they been brought in b4? thanks
  19. i used to keep them too, ghost boxing shrimp, dr shrimp, fire shrimp.. deformed, broken legs, tails, feelers, etc will just grow back normal after a 1-2 molting.
  20. hmm bro IMHO, think it boils down to tank size and preferences, distilled water top up is viable option, if tank is smaller, of cos it's easier to just buy distilled water and mix with salt, but for reefers with larger tank, the amount can be quite hefty and impractical. equipment wise, maybe it's more of a personal preferences, like why some ppl prefer to own a car and some prefer to cab around despite being able to afford a car.. 1 man's meat, is another man's poison like how some say dosing pump is better (cost effective etc) than CR, while some would cringe at the thought of it.
