Hi any one try using pp canister to reduce no3 ?

Hi just to check if any reefer run two skimmer together ? thinking to add one more or change the existing skimmer to a bigger one

Saw a big black tang in hk selling hkd 2000 around 300 plus sgd much cheaper than sg

Hi fish lover here keep cow fish before ?can share the experience ?

Some fish are diff to keep eg moorish idol n butterfly fish , mandarin fish etc . Some are easy such as clown fish n damsel . I keep new fish in a relatively big Perspex container and put inside the tank for some time until they r stable n able to mix around w other fish. it could take some few weeks . Also if u can try to buy fish which already eating in the fish shop .

Used to have one copper band and yellow long nose butterfly in a coral tank. Kept for more than a year feed on mysis shrimp and anything it can find in the life rocks . Cannot keep with other aggresive fish and populated tank imo .

Any body keep this fish before ? Can share some experience ? thanks

if I introduce the new fish in the main tank other fish will bully them.

Just curious any body keeping this fish ? And how long ?

For my sump I just use two pack of ceramic bio rings , skimmer in the second compartment , third compartment for quarantine new fish and lady compartment for return pump . I notice put more bio rings in the sump actually doesn't help much . Just keep the sump simple . I noticed after I remove the bio rings in the third compartment of my sump there are no effect to the tank at all .

Imo. Sump don't use coral chips or sand as filter medium . just use some bio rings . If use coral chips , over the time dirt will accumulate in the coral chips , resulting in high nitrate

I think no sand is the best . But not nice

No they won't flight . I removed the rocks away as overtime there are a lot of dirt below the rocks
