It is better to have quality workmanship, type of silicon used, tank maker who knows that marine tank is different from fresh water tank, so that no issues in future maintenance.

H2O2 sold in pharmacies here are not food grade type. They are mixed with stabilizer to prevent the H2O2 from oxidizing. So try not to bring the solution into the tank. Remove the rock or whatever from the tank, treat it, and washed it.

Could be condensing coils are dirty and clogged up. Need to chemical wash the coils.

Big fluctuations if the % of water change is alot.

Start from basics first. Cycle your tank with LR for a few weeks before putting any livestock. Check the water parameters. Invest in good skimmer. The list goes on....

I used H&S then skimz. To me, both are equally fantastic needlewheel skimmers. Unless I have to compare between beckett, venturi and needlewheel, totally different for all. Tried all 3 types, still beckett is the best, but of course, due to the required pump pressure requirement, needed alot of electrically power.

LED is good, I wouldn't say it is better than MH. It has its pros & cons.. I notice, birdnest, grow best in LED followed by acros, LPS. Millis seem to grow vey slowly. Been using for more than 2 years. Had to DIY my LED since there is no LED fixtures during that time. Save lots of money on bills after switching from 2x250W MH + 6x39W T5 to LEDs (121 x 3Watts LED). Tank looks brighter, less heat emmitted to the water, chiller doesn't have to work too hard. I think it should pay back my invesment based on the rising trend of the electricity tariffs.

Just feed the fish with fortified stuff. Henry's gourmet is great. Once the fish's immune system are strong, the ich will detach from their body.

Should use those constant current LED driver instead. Your 3W LEDs is of 660nm for red wavelength?

Great concept. Float switches in salt water don't favour well, so be careful. May be can use the RO water pressure pump to on/off, if you have.
