Hi By reading this tread, i have solve my problem. I have bougt a macro few days ago. I found out that when I off the return pump, the water in the macro keep rising untill it flood the collection cup. According to you guys explaination that the water level depends on the depth of the pump. Thats means that when I off the return pump the water level i the sump increase and that cause the water in the macro to rise as well. In the end i have to connect the 2 pump into the same switch so that I switch off both pump together. I think it is not a good designin this area.

Hi If you have a tank with a few lion fish. How do you feed them. Just throw in the live shrimps or target feed. If target feed then how to do it.

Hi I have a 4ft tank. Currently it has about 1.5 inch of grade 1 sands. Can I just top up the sand if I want to create a DSB. Can i top up with Grade 0 sand on top? Now in the tank has just Live rocks and a damsel

Hi I am in oversea so I have give away all my lifestock (except a damsel). Now my tank has only live rock and that little fish for 2 months. I did not switch on any light and there is a pump inside. On the weekend when I go home, I see all the live rock has many brown algae on it. Also It appear to be very dark in colour. Will the live rock still function as a nitrate removal if I re introduce life stock in. Is there such things as a "dead" live rock.

Hi all As i am going oversea for 3 months, can I remove all the LS and leave the LR and sand in the tank? Do I have to do water change for 3 months.

Have a Undulate Trigger (3.5 inch) to Swop. Too Aggresive in my tank. Alot of casualties already. Not sure if the culprit is the Trigger but going to get it out. Willing to swop for anything (fish or coral) Live in Punggol can arrange somewhere to meet

Hi You better not. My Dwarf Lion is about 1.5 inch long and the whole tail has been biten off. I am suspecting the trigger fish is the culprit. Now my Lion Fish is isolated in a net. Still Survivng but cannot swim. Any suggestion on how to safe the Lion Fish.
