  1. Thanks for the info bro. Yah i'm also looking at Dama for the acrylic but i'm just wondering if they help to cut up the shapes as those we cut ourselves have rough edges. I supposed it might end up more expensive then buying off the shelf but it's just the mood to DIY that kicks in =)
  2. Any bro know where can i find the mentioned? I'm looking at buying acrylic that are cut into circle disc to be used as frag plug for my diy frag rack.
  3. Price is about 3-5 times more then the regular turbo snail depending on where you bought it. Haven been going to LFS so got no idea which one have in stock.
  4. Yeah very hardworking bugger inside my tank. Only difference between turbo and this fellow is price.
  5. You can try getting nassarius snail to help flip your sand. It's commonly seen on ah beng. As for your rock, turbo snail will be a good choice but you may also look into Astraea Turbo Snail as they all smaller in size if you think the regular turbo snail is too big. Try to mix a number of different cleaning crew to yield the best possible result. Just go google and search for reef tank cleaning crew you should be able to get a rough idea on the options available for you.
  6. Having a buddy will be the best possible solution else train your siblings or spouse on that will be best. The most basic stuff i reckon have to be done is topping up of water and feeding the fishes if its not automated. Where managing your parameter shouldn't be a issue if your tank is already stable.
  7. Looks like you already kept marine before because your wavemaker is full of coraline algae lol.
  8. IMO the best bang for our money is BM. Its price is in the middle region not expensive and not cheap but performance wise is something which i will recommend.
  9. Yes you have to take into account your total water volume. For me i'm using BM Nac 5.5 which is rated at 80-130G where my tank total volume only at 50-60 only my rough estimation.
  10. It depends on how you look at it bro. For example if you skim to heavily and nutrient level become extremely low, your softy will suffer.
  11. Higher rating will grant you the ability to skim out nutrient more effectively. It also gives you the options of reusing when you intend to upgrade your tank.
  12. Ah i'm one step slow on this zoas. Anyway up for your sales.
  13. Looks like you are all set. Camping here for your update.
  14. You will be more concern for your electric appliances rather than your tank =) Anything metallic will corrode.
  15. Very nicely done bro. But be careful of leopard wrasse, they are some bungy jumping dare devil =)
  16. Sounds very interesting. I have read the method through their official website but can't really figure out how it works. Shall wait for your updates to see if this method really good =)
  17. Great looking tank. Bro care to share how the triton system works? Can't find much info on it. Maintenance became much easier now?
  18. Up for your hairy milli bro. Saw it in person very nice specimen.
  19. Best bet for online purchase is to use paypal for payment. In case of dispute, you can always get a refund back from paypal by dropping them an email.
  20. Legend =) wait after Chinese New Year I pay you visit test and see how. Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
  21. Filled it up with sand and some star fish kids can have sentosa underwater world at your house on CNY =)
  22. No problem. Maybe if you wanna find out about vinegar dosing, you could pm bro evolution. If I never recalled wrongly he dose vinegar. Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
  23. Bro I would advise you not to use vodka unless you really know what you're doing. Over the years I'd heard many tank crash because of that so don't play play with it lol. If you want a more control method biopallet are still your best bet. Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
