Any bro out there have tried using both Biopellet together with polyp-lab bio-sphere for nitrate reduction. Done some reading online that although both are carbon source for bacteria but are 2 different material biopellet being degradable polymer while bio-sphere made of yeast. My main concern is that will using both cause extremely low oxygen level?

It's really sad seeing the angel being "ta pau". Being a sports fisherman practicing catch and release i really feel upset seeing fishes got caught and pack back home irregardless of size. I would strongly urge people not to try and catch this fish at the jetty. Sports fish and ornamental fish are totally different, you don't gain much thrill catching an angel fish comparing to catching a barramundi.

Keep your water condition good and also feed them with food soak with garlic guard to boast their immunity should do the trick. Previously i also have ich on my hippo tang which is due to my nephew and niece stressing them by knocking on the glass and scaring them. As long as the fish is feeding well and swimming it shouldn't be an issue to nurse it back to health.

Hi guys, would like to check what's the average lifespan you are having on your chiller not taking into consideration of maintenance but only regular usage. You can buy a RODI or DI unit to make your own water or you could just contact LFS to provide natural sea water. Don't use tap water as it contains silicate which will give you problem with algae.
