The sand is Too expensive.I would rather use the leftover money to buy the addictives and dose. each pack of black sand i buy save $48,which means i could buy $48 worth of additive. i use 3 packets of sand = $48 x 3 worth of addictives

Do u think i could block up a corner as high as my tank and put a DSB? i wanna keep SPS!

i forgot the name of the sand but it is definitly not live sand as it is for freshwater use.bought from c328 > $12 / 5kg

Yup i m using cured Rocks from my dad but not live sand.

Hmm i get it now, but i have another qns, if we have a DSB that no oxygen can reach , so how does the water pass through and convert no3 to n?
