Looking to buy a Mandarin Goby which is already trained to eat frozen food or flakes/pellets. I really want one of these fish but my tank is only a few months old and I know I don't have an adequate copepod population. The guy who runs Golden Octopus has two huge Mandarins trained to eat frozen shrimp! Anyone with a trained fishee they are willing to part with?

I also had a coral eating crab. Took me months to catch him! Finally got him by trapping him in a corner and using a barbeque skewer to pierce his shell. I know that sounds cruel but he was a coral murderer!

Ah, that is great info! How much light do I need for a 3x2x2.5 tank? From what I read on the internet my 150W will not be enough for corals. I want clams and an anemone which are light loving. The rest can be softies, leathers, a prata, bubble, etc. How much light do you guys think I need? Would welcome opinions? Would one 250W MH do the trick? Want to start adding corals over the next week.

Looking for a three foot long MH which can hold two 250W bulbs. I have just finished cycling and have decided my current 150W MH just ain't gonna be enough!

I am in the process of cycling my tank. I installed a second hand Deltec skimmer three days ago and there is still not a drop of waste in the collection cup. The air intake valve is fully opened. What could be wrong? The skimmer is producing lots of fine bubbles and looks normal in every way. Shouldn't there be something showing up by now?

Hi everyone, As promised, here are a couple of photos of the skimmer. It measures 50 cms from the base to the top of the collection cup. I am not sure of the exact Reef Octopus model but the pump says Octopus Turbine Pump Model OTP-1000. Does this help? I had it up and running in my three foot tank which is currently cycling and it collected lots of stuff from the water. PM or SMS me at 9109-6067. $50
