yeah the filter sock will sure help. if you can keep up with the 2x/wk then shoudl be ok. just not sure about not having phosphate removers though ... well you can still monitor closely if it's effective.

that's good bro ! yeah i saw ytou selling out your canister. i'm still with my reefpack. only thing before is couldn't solve the microbubbles from the skimmer even with wool at bottom, so tried relocating everything. eventually ended up both skim/filter together as advertized. microbubbles gone. also good as it allowed me to place the ice probe that i've mounted in an HOB filter. just haven't gone full throttle on it yet as the waterfall causes too much bubbles, so trying to have the water fall directed instead probably with a pipe or something to flow down better. yeah i know i know i haven't posted yet ... soon bro. my tank is empty ... i don't have jewels and emeralds like you guys yet. soon ... soon ...
