  1. the website has pics ... so you can see who they are
  2. unfortunately, because of the business, they can't seem to say things straight to the interested newbie buyers. when they first opened i even saw in an IQ3 2 blue tangs, a clown, a BTA, Zoas, and what seemed to be a bad state of health gonio ... and the corals were not even frags for nano / pico ... but in the eyes of newbies and specially kids, they're cute, i want them ... now !
  3. welcome ... how about lime lime can get your bro to give you some exotics or rare ones haha ... will be a pico treasure
  4. it's like the news about the chihuahuas ... because of celebrities owning and showing them off, plus films like beverly hills chihuahua, the population of these dogs in LA grew to a staggering 60,000 ! and now more and more are being abandoned especially by newbies who thought it was easy to take care of them ... good that there are still samaritans out there who are rescuing them and finding them new homes, to as far as edmonton canada ...
  5. yes i've seen that as well ... this is their site --> http://www.pocketocean.com/
  6. Damsels IS distress joking aside ... maybe just like people i guess, based on individual character, like the one i got Damsels are supposed to be young girls, or single ones ... why they're called damsels i have no idea
  7. long time ago my CO bought a bow tie damsel because it looked cute ... at least the one we had was very aggressive ... even after acclimatizing for quite some time, once released, really started harrasing all fishes, even much bigger angels and clowns ... until like the movie Predator, found his match - one which stood up to it was an even smaller 3-spot domino ... 24-7 they chased each other messing up sand and toppling frags. so in no time, removed both as the domino also started harrasing others !
  8. you can try searching for Mitlancer's thread here, his 4-ft Atlantis wall mount tank was something like 0.5-ft width ...
  9. What freshwater, tap ? Better to use distilled as bros mentioned already. I pour 0.5 to 1 bottle and like peace, pour it in my nano filter (tunze)
  10. Hey Jacky, how have u been ? How's ur tank. Haha no, I 'upsized' a little already, have a new thread
  11. Hi bro, you can read through here ... Ice Probe
  12. Hi, I have my old acrylic tank for sale, condition is ~7/10 due to scratches. Selling off for $50. Commissioned Jan 2010, Decom Dec 2010. Collection is AMK. Old thread of tank can be viewed (Poomoon's Acrylic cube). Styrofoam included. Thanks.
  13. Hi, have my Ice Probe for Sale. Bought new last Jan 2010 from FreshnMarine/Reef Depot. Used on and off for ~8 months. Condition is 9.5/10, due to slight scratches and prevous salt spray caused one of the screws and the fan screen some minimal rust. Cleaned only, as is condition. Picture attached was taken only tonight. Selling at $160. Collection can be arranged either Bishan or AMK. Reason for selling - just stopped using after converting to 2 ft. Thanks.

yup, my sunflower looks similar to this. the one you posted earlier seems different, but also no the same as the one in the link you provided (yellow brick) ... hmm ...
  16. lol ... if this is how he looks before feeding ... don't hand feed ...
  17. so once they go missing a couple of days, there's really no chance at all that for some reason they're hiding, and come out during the dark ? just wondering ... my clown goby long time ago disappeared, and i was only able to accept that it was indeed gone maybe after a week of not seeing it ... well it is quite tiny compared to this though ...
  18. nice i guess the challenge will be once all of em grow big ... for such a tank size, it's nice to see them corals look small and cute
  19. lol ... maybe the bite will just tickle you. i used to jump into a lake of hundreds of 1.5-foot milk fishes during feeding, and you'd just feel either tickled or massaged
  20. sorry for your loss bro ... such a nice wrasse. btw, how long haven't you seen it ?
  21. I haven't tried catching them with my hand, though my clown goes near my hand time to time, and is used to sticking it's nose out of the water when I offer to feed it with mysis or brine with my fingers, takes it even before the food touches the water
