I used to have them but now switching to built-in overflow. Soonest or latest u will u find canister a big hassle to maintain -

Alternatively, u can remove yr common clown for a while, rearrange the rock structure to create more hiding places, then introduce the common clown back to the main tank. No gurantee it will work but u can try

For me, sand, rocks followed by mixed salt water. Others might have other preferences -

Food is not the main source of problem to put a YT in a 2 footer. For a 3" YT, yes u can but they need lot of swimming space as they grow. best recommend one tang in 4 ft tank

I can understand that cos when started this hobby, me too using fan but that a hassle when seecing the temp go up and down .That's why I bought a chiller to ease my worry
