hopefully morientes will come good next season.. he's gt too much quality to be a flop in liverpool.. agree with bwily that liverpool strikers sux.. need central defenders too.. dont think carra can go the whole of next season without getting injured again.. need back up for hyppia.. even though dudek was the hero the other nite i think he is too incosistent to be liverpool's no 1.. kirkland dont impress me neither.. carson is allright but we need a keeper with stature, who will boss his defence.. maybe somebody in petr cech mould.. to me the only dept where liverpool is at par with the top teams is its midfield.. world class pairing of xabi and gerrard, nt forgetting the ever dependable hamann and also luis garcia although he tends to lose the ball too much at times.. he will get better next season especially in epl.. but i think hamann will move in this close season and there's still a big question mark over stevie's future.. im sure rafa would bring in useful players in the coming weeks.. hopefully he will get a few players that are tried and tested in epl so that theres no nid to adapt to english football...

IMO 2 of pools first half goals were individual errors made by traore... can see that he was damn nervous in the first half.. pool were playing the way juve did against pool i.e pumping the ball down the middle.. u know dats nt gonna get u anywhere with stam and nesta in the middle... dunno whether it was tactical or really finnan was injured but credit must be given to rafa for sending in hamann 4 the 2nd half and nt cisse in search for another goal... a lesser man would go for a striker in those situations... hamann gave the stabilising factor in the team and the likes of gerrard and xabi can move forward knowing that a reliable player is sitting in front of the defences.. rafa raised a few eyebrows when he played kewell instead of hamann.. im sure he purposely did dat to create the 'surprise' factor.. coz we all know what kewell can do when he's on form.. unfortunately it din turn out dat way... another tactical brilliance from rafa when he switched gerrard to right back.. he sure did his homework as he knows serginho is brought into play to whip in those crosses and employed gerrard to stop the danger from the source.. anybody who follows milan will know that serginho has a mean cross.. he showed it when he whipped it in only for sheva to miss in the dying minutes of extra time.. agreed dat milan played well on the night.. so did liverpool.. how can a team who come back from 3 nil down in a major european FINAL to win it nt deserve credit?? its nt some epl game... its the greatest comeback in a european FINAL of all time.. agree with roidan dat penalties are a one off thing and anybody can beat anyone at that.. but the manner the shoot out was achieved was unbelievable.. who would have thought that at half time? now pool have to buy strikers for nx season agree with u dat cisse was a big whiner last nite.. was expecting more from him given the circumstances... and i believe baros would leave liverpool in the summer and that paves way for another striker... cheers!

agreed... but i feel dat chemistry between players dat makes those passes possible i.e the crosser basically knew where to attacker gonna be.. for example macca and fowler, gerrard and owen(sorry a bit liverpool biased ), beckham and rvn, gullit and van basten etc.. almost telepathic.. no doubt thers those occasional geniuses like maradona, zidane and even bergkamp(imo one of the best passer of the game).. but these breeds are very few and far between... i dont think crossing is ronaldo's ######.. dats y it would be interesting to see him play in the 'hole'.. he can dribble and has a good shot... but he have to displace a certain mr rooney to play in the hole..

i guess ronaldo is nt like normal wingers who just run to the byeline and crosses the ball in... he needs to do ten stepovers first before crossing... the reason why nistelrooy scored a lot of goals from beckham's crosses back then was because all beckham did was get to the flanks and crosses to an area where he knows nistelrooy gonna be at... with ronaldo he loves to take on defenders first.. i wonder how he would perform if he is played in the 'hole'... i think he's more effective there... arsenal din deserve to win last nite.. lehmann was in top top form..
