If you leave your tank fish-less for about 28 days; All the ich parasites will die off as they is no host for them. Then your tank is consider ich-free at that point in time.

Maybe there is something wrong with your pipings / position of the pipings. Why do you need to have the intake from IOS? I thought you just put the FR beside your sump and let the pump pumps in the water and out thru the FR back into the sump?

Hi Kuay5, Klien butterfly has indeed greatly reduced the aiptasia in my tank; Cannot find small aiptasia anymore; and those big and medium ones are either getting smaller or retracted most of the time. Also, it eats anything I feed him. But it does nip my only SPS while it does not touch my zoas; or gsp coral. I do not have LPS at the moment; so not sure it will touch LPS or not.
