Yup definitely much nicer and neater without the net. I only take off the net when I am home. Lost a few wrasses and hogfish last time due to high jump competition. Wrasses prone to jump when they get excited and flashing here and there.

Yes, you need the higher amps for the compressor. By the way, my chiller controller seems to show 1 degree difference from my thermometer. May I know how to set the controller temp to be the same as my thermometer? Thanks.

WTS: Hanna Phosphorus checker and magnets
digibee replied to digibee's topic in Sell off/Pasar Malam Shop
Hi, note that both magnets on the wet side got those hard corals growth like the ones on flipper. I forgot to take the pics. So you will need to clean them yourself or change the sponge, etc. -
I have a U shaped piping above my water level and down back to the water; from IOS side to the DT. Yes, I have wave effects with pump power 60% - 30%, wave mode. Will post video once ready.

Yup, IOS should not be too big; hence cannot put too many things. Currently I have 4 compartments on my IOS; One for media; one for skimmer; one for chiller coil; one for return pump. I may put an FR in my media area. I have my IOS covered as you can see in the pic. (Will show better pic once I am ready). You are right about things that will never be used and stored in the cabinet. I have reduced some of my stuff to minimize that from happening. Thanks.

Hi, Selling the below: Hanna Phosphorus checker (HI 736) with a free unopened reagent. ($30.) Flipper magnet and magfloat. Both for ($38) Take all ($55) Collection at the East or LFS on weekends. Cheers!

Don't really like sump, I only prefer sump, if I have a fish room like Larry. IOS is less noisy, less prone to flooding, and have more space for stuff in cabinet. Mine supposed to be simple, easy to maintain tank

Bro, I use tap water to top up too; It is ok for both fish and corals; but my algae grow bolder; So I think should reduce the phosphate with biopellets or phosphate buster if possible. Cheers!

Moldy stuff are usually sponges; I prefer to scrap them off the rock; as they could be already dead and will pollute the water.
