  2. All over klang valley, spore prices are way cheaper for mushroom, slightly cheaper for some Lps. But I think Scolymia corals we are much cheaper
  3. The carpet anemone is probably gigantea carpet (u can look at the research article I wrote and was posted either in src or another forum) I am not going move the anemone, it is my destinated spot for it. So long it is not stress, receives flow to from it's waste n get fed I dun think it will move . East?? I am from the North - Malaysia lol
  4. I miss it too Have been thinking to redo but ordi have photosythntic corals But will get a red or pink Rhyzo and may be some nps. We shall see how:) Btw where is my bro Gouldian lately?
  5. Scolymia was just bought, a few hrs ago. Hence that sad looking face Mp10- no choice - from old setup. But ok as it Is ideal for the left open area

  9. During the planning stage, much discussion was held between me and the LFS and some close reefers, this has resulted in the following desirable features Top Left: Side door on the left cabinet for easy maintenance of the filter sock or future equipments:P Top RIght: Oveflow pipe that goes to far end of the sump Bottom Left: Durso in the external overflow box Bottom RIght: Large rectangle hole for chiller pipes and wiring - no more unscrewing that 3 pin plug grrr
  10. The decom process took 3 hrs of my morning as planned (a day before i listed out the tasks and expected time to complete, and printed out including the items needed to complete the setup) Next the cabinet and aquarium arrived 11.30am Top Left: 5ft cabinet (including the 1ft side door) Top RIght: 4ft aquarium (10mm glass - 4x2x2) Bottom Left: Testing the level Bottom Right: the external overflow box that is hidden by the 1ft side cabinet door (my desire)
  11. After hiding for 1 year (no marine period) and coming back late December 2010 on RSM/3ft, and after much hestiation i finally went for my desire. This desire took 2 weeks "ding dong" after deciding to setup a new tank. On 30th March 2011, new tank coming and old one decom. here are the decommission pictures: Top Left: Thanks to friend letting me their pails Top Right: Storing the existing water Bottom Left: Transfering the corals to holding vessel until tank ready Bottom Right: 3ft tank clearing process
  12. Terryz u seen my NPS b4 rite, it is the blue seafan, common but prone to die. I wasn't paying attention to nps at coral farm, just too much hassle to prepare the food, not to mention the many types of food to feed n lastly nutrient export. I may try but I am ATM sourcing for rhyzo (pink) n supersun, before considering seafans
  13. that is encouraging news. just continue, your efforts will be rewarded. btw there is a few sakura seafan in coral farm last weekend
  14. Hi terryz, Unfortunately it was decom due to distractions / neglect , pass some to another reefer The tissue looks receding try placing under high flow n target feed cyclopeeze or other juicy food to lure it out. It may probably increase Yr nutrient n it would take 2 months to see some recovery but 1 month should be good to get it feedIng Thanks for Yr comment, I may be returning to nps (not sure at Wat scale though) I have a rhyzo that has been neglected by LFS let's see how it recovers
  15. Hi, Yr sun corals pic u posted on (Posted Yesterday, 04:45 AM) Does not look healthy, u have easy access to target feed them ?
  16. hey bro, u have a pic of how u attach your skimmer? interested to see
  17. decided to revert by to the original lighting. (RSM - 10k kelvins - 1 blue 1 white PL, but use 1 55 watts instead of 2 PL) the corals colors are original here is the 1 of the rhyzo super sun
  18. i dunno if u believe this...i shot this and produce this shot in between 2 seafan's stem, did a bit of "emphasis" here is shot and orginial as it was taken original lighting- 55 watts actintic
  19. I glad my cardinals are taking pellets and mysis shrimp, tonite they had fresh seafood They seem happy in my little reef home, probably the noctural reef suits these noctural fish this goby has caused the yahsa goby to hid and eventually die. Also my mistake.
  20. yup i changed the tubes...using 1 only
  21. here is the arcylic filter from United States of America. It is customed built for RSM tanks, where it forces the water to pass 3 stages of mechanical and chemical filter before returning to the tank. It tightly fits the edges of the tank filter. You can place sponge, carbon and followed by PO4 remover. Slot it and remove it when required for maintenance. The above filter works only if u dun use the stock skimmer. The other 1 is for Tunze skimmer cup, Tunze cup will not enable RSM's skimmer hood to close. But this cup will enable the skimmer hood to close nicely. got my cabinet to hide the chiller drum. dun be deceive, it has a handle but no door, handle for me to pull it out if need too. frog skimmer cup in place RSM timer set to switch on actinics at 5pm so u decided to come out but where is my yasha goby
  22. today, i removed 1 of the lights and replaced it with my existing moonlight LED
  23. mysis shrimp reef bugs cyclopeeze Fauna Marin products prawns both target and flood
