  4. HI Bro KenYee. Those bend pipes and joints which not shown in the pictures actually can be accessible from another compartment which didnt show in the pictures. Furthermore those joints are fully glue which is not mean for any changes. Removing the top part will allow it to be transfer when needed. Thanks for your suggestion. I'm not using any top up tank as i'm doing water change weekly. For those who knows me, will see me often weekly at pasir ris lfs as now DI units not DIY yet. Hehe...
  5. Next stage is the drop-in coil connection to the compressor.
  6. Now the return pipe is finally completed connected. A bit of silicon glue added as precaution where the pipes inserted till can't pull out unless have sufficient grip. Hehe.....
  7. Hi bro. I have use this for my own acrylic led light box. In fact you can get it from Singapore.
  8. You need to maintain the check valve else it will, of course.
  9. Part one for the tank is almost complete with the remaining of the check valve which i'm about to get it after consideration in the reverse flow. Two solution possible. a. Cheap --> drill a hole at the outlet which what normally most reefers do. b. Expensive --> use check valve. Finally decided to go for the expensive approach, due to the outlet is in the front of the tank. Will a braceless tank, expected to have some microbubles that my FTO will complain. The wiring for my tank. The sump tank with my heat exchanger. My return pump plus the bubble magus holder + filter socks from DE Lighting.
  10. Is been kind of busy with familiy and works commitment. Only lately has the push to get the pending work done so that can allocate space for new project in mind. Here are some of the photos which now pending for my sump tank to ready for the final piping, drop-in coil connection.
  11. SM sells small quantity...aside from the super X price quoted....another thing is the lead time.... I bought mine from online and overall i would say that with the price quoted from SM, i can get 2 pcs price..
  12. The project stopped now at the completed cabinet will pending for the custom tank order approval release from my FTO. I have not taken any picture on the cabinet with all the side laminated with formica... Probably the next updates which I have would be in Jan 2014. This delay also due to my newly task and commitment to my families... Apologize for the delay. In fact I'm also DIY the lighting using LEDs aside from the cabinet. My main obstacles are relocating the current tank to new position as the existing position will be use for the new tank and also my piping and trunking for the compressor to my sump tank.. Material are mostly available but just to have the time for that major drilling and laying out the wiring plus the piping... All the above can only start after i have relocate my current tank. Probably i'll schedule to relocate my current tank in mid Dec.
  13. Hi James. The cost will diff much as based on the material chosen... For the cabinet, I spend about SGD300 plus for the material itself.
  14. PMed you.
  15. The cost of getting a good heat sink is not cheap....

  20. Hi bro... Lately busy with work and also also CNY so no work is allow from my CO cause will make the entire house messy.... But will continue in March.... Furthermore slight change in the tank design since seeing some setup not so good on the current tank...
  21. Hi there.... The cost is not low compare with ordered. The difference is we can enjoy the process and choose the material. Of course not to mention the satisfaction once completed.
