Dear Reefers, I am decomissioning my 4 footer due to the collaped of the compartment wall between the display tank and the internal overflow. I will start with the first series of sale on Live Rocks and Corals before getting into selling off fishes and equipment (fish list and equipment list will be provided in a separate Sale thread): Live Rocks Two types of LRs: 1) LR encrusted with sps/lps/soft corals - price range $20-$70 per peice basis 2) LR without corals but encrusted with purple coralines (usually used as the based for the aquascape)- price range $5-$20 per peice As I need to clear all the rocks latest by next week, preference will be given to those can take, if not all, most of the items per go. Unfortunately, I also have a scheduled travelling plan during this weekend, as such, I will knick the sales today after 7pm.. This Saturary and Sunday are not good for me just I will be outstationed...however, I will have a full day OPEN HOUSE this coming Monday since it is a public holiday..other appointments during weekdays will be after 7pm if not pre-arranged. For those who are interested please PM or text me (98177568) for the address and confirm timing.. It would be good if you can bring along your own container for large rock ...

It will depend on how the tank come out to be... let's wait and see...

If I am not wrong the denitrator has slow flow rate... for Bio Pellets to work properly... you need a FR with and good flow rate...

You can come and take a look before I post in this section... I am decomissioning my 4 footer...
-
Yes..bro.. I am getting the tank maker to see if he can fix the current tank problem.. Hopefully you can see a brand new setup again... but this time... it will be a totally different experience...

Sir, I am sure you can find some large LR that suit you... In fact, most of my LRs are encrusted with many SPS and LPS: Here are some of the bigger shots:

I woke up this morning seeing my maid cleaning the flooded floor and felt sorry her..although that part of her job.. And this is probably the final push for me to take this as one of the excuses I've given myselft that I finally decided to decom the 4 footer... The compartment wall that separates the main display tank and the internal overflow had just collaped to the left side... it had broke the pipe for the second return flow which caused the power short and extra water (due to the colape of the water) that over-flood my sump... Although the main structure of the display tank is still ok...I am not sure if that wall can hold or further collape and add additional presure to the tank main struture.. Anyway, no matter what remedy I am undertaking - whether I order a new tank or just seal back the compartment wall, I still need to extract all the water and LS and LR out... so might as well take the opportunity to decommission the tank... But I am keeping my 6 footer though..
-
It is with much regret and unfortunate that I am decomissioning my 4.5 feet Marine tank... This tank has been with me for about 2 years.. it was initially meant for my son but dadyy got to do all the maintenance... So...anyone who is setting up a new 4 feet tank or interested to transfer all the LR (Live Rock) and LS (Live Stock)... including the NSW from this tank, please feel free to PM me..

I have the similar light swithch problem with one of the MP40w when it is in night mode... I think it has to do with the driver (the trip might be due to the overheating) rather than the wet side (as I use 4 different wet sides to test/check)...and it usually has another syn problem as slave pump for the problem pump.. so what I do as work around is to put a timer and turn off the pumps as certain time interval to simulate the hight/low tide flow.. As for the rest of the three MP40w, I set one as master with two slaves - the slave pump on the same side set as syn slave (white light) and the other pump of the opposite side as anti-syn (orange light). The night mode starts for the three pumps at around 0130 hrs in the interval of 15 mins. Once the three pumps are in night mode, the fourth pump is turn on: Normal Night mode Pump1 (Master) 1030 - 0130 0130 - 1030 Pump2 (Slave-anti syn ) 1045 - 0145 0145 - 1045 Pump3 (Slave-syn) 1100 - 0200 0200 - 1100 Pump4 (Stand alone) 1300 - 2300 2300 - 0200 (off) 0200 - 1100 1100 - 2300 (off)
