I'm staying at the opposite of the island. Maybe you can PM ray and see when u can drop by his house to test your tank and sump water samples.

What you can do is bring a sample of your sump and main tank water to Ray's house and test with his PH monitor. If his PH monitor indicates readings of 8 then something wrong with either your monitor or probe already.

Did you bring your monitor and probe down and test at Iwarna?

Bro, I suggest you go down to the LFS and buy the PH test kits. These will be able to test your PH of your water and you will be able to get a rough idea of how much your PH is. Otherwise you can borrow Jacky's PH monitor and test the water in your tank. Another thing is do you have the calibration liquid for the Pinpoint monitor? If you have use that to test your PH probe and monitor.

It's impossible to have PH of 0.31. All your corals would have died already and when u put your hand into the tank, your hand would have disintegrated too and you will end up in hospital in the emergency unit. The most probable thing is that your probe could be spoilt. The next thing you can do is to get the PH test kits from any LFS and test your water.

I will need to check with some of the LFSes first. Not sure if they want to do this since they have their own suppliers already. Not exactly cheaper hor. With shipping and GST cost included, you may end up paying ard SGD 8/polyp. There are some super rare ones (according to some websites) that cost up to USD 30/polyp... Do take note that half frag is 5 polyps, full frag is 10 polyps and double frag is 15+ polyps.

I believe on RC, Randy Holmes is using the Hach PO-19. So that is using a colour wheel so it could be considered as an alternative to the digital meter.

Bubble magus seems to be quite good though it is a china brand. But u need to import it in from HK as I heard the price is Singapore is very ex. I think many people go KTV (K Box, Partyworld) leh...so cannot say until like KTV is no good...
