  1. House mainly from CPF lah. Banquet cost can recover from Ang Pows collected. Reno maybe 20k to 50k depending on wat you want in your house. Tank depends on size and also wat type of corals u want to put in. Go for the exotic and aussie corals will cost a bomb.
  2. You can always go down later...
  3. If the coco worm drop from its tube, wat u do is to get a tupperware container, fill it with your tank water, take the coco worm and insert the end of the coco worm (not the feather end) into the tube and leave it in the tupperware container. Normally within about 1 hour it will go back into its tube.
  4. Ahhh...so u insert the tubing somewhere and fart into the water huh???
  5. So have u gone and blow your salt mix water??? Did the PH drop?
  6. I might need to get more egg crates from C328. Might not have enough...
  7. If he like and can afford ok wat... U sell him yours lor...
  8. Dun worry...more to come... Until the day your tank is packed from below the sand bed to above your water level, you will still have chance to shop for GEMS...
  9. Wat all the good stuff??? All the good stuff reserved before I even came...
  10. Acans also got red ones...in fact most corals got red colour variations... You never mention gonio...
  11. You can go to CCK. There is a freshwater fish shop near the Warren condo that sells frozen mysis shrimp. It's at blk 307 or somewhere near there.
  12. Wah...so Jacky...how long u going to *ahem* the water??? First time I heard people giving the water a *ahem* job.
  13. Can get Furan 2 from C328. Saw it yesterday when I was there.
  14. rubber tubing + mouth power???
  15. Get a cheapo china powerhead to aerate your water. Should be able to get the PH down after overnight aeration.
  16. When did you see them shrinking and not opening up? Did you target feed them? How are your water parameters?
  17. What problems u have with your Yumas???
  18. T5 is higher output than normal PL lights so yes, T5 will be much brighter than PL lights.
  19. T5 and PL lights can be used if you are keeping just LPS and Softies. My preference would be for you to change to a 4x39W T5 fixture. Reason being with 4 lights, you can mix and match the tubes to create the effect you want. Some fixtures have 2 on/off switches which allow you to switch on/off 2 tubes at a time. 39W x2 will be sufficient for most LPS even if you put them on your sand bed. But you would be quite constrained in terms of choice of tubes.
  20. U can try using reef buffer to see if it will work...
