Nothing much at Reborn. Last piece of Aussie scoly, red colour available at $200. -
Don't feed your LS nori that are processed with added flavouring unless you really want to foul up your tank and kill off all your LS in the process... You can get nori at any LFS.

Hi Bro, That instruction is to get the foam production start up. If you want a drier skim mate, then u have to move the collection cup up, if you want a wetter skim mate, then move it down. That's all. By the way, for my MCE600 that I'm using the air tap is set to ard the 2pm position. The amount of bubbles and skim mate that your skimmer produces depends on the amount of nutrients in your tank.

The cloudiness is only when i dosed Reef booster in my tank. When i first dosed it, it was fine for like 30 mins, after which I found my tank turning slightly cloudy and 1 hr later, it was super cloudy. It only cleared up about 4 hours later. Basically I just dosed it right from the capsule into my tank. Anyway, this was what it stated on the instructions on the box. On their website, it mentioned to dilute it with tank water and then pour it into the tank. Which is correct? I really have no idea. The next day, after I dosed reef booster, I dosed bio clean in my tank. My tank doesn't turn cloudy when i dosed Bio Clean. It isn't supposed to since bio clean is just bacteria and trace elements. The pic in my post above happened after I started dosed AZ NO3. Over the last 3 weeks, I have been using AZ NO3 to control the nitrates in my tank. It has been doing a pretty good job, keeping my nitrates at ard 10ppm level, highest is abt 25 ppm and that is when i use Henry's Reef Gourmet the previous night. Previously without using AZ NO3, my nitrates will increase to between 50-100 ppm within 2 weeks. Right now, I have not changed my tank water for about 1.5 months and the nitrates are still maintained between 10-25ppm. Now looking at before and after using Reef Booster and Bio Clean, I can only say that my skim mate production has probably increased 8-10 times and looking at the way AZ NO3 is reacting in my tank now, I can only presume that the amount of nutrients in my tank is way above what it was previously.

You want feedback on Reef Booster and Bio Clean? Ok, I give u feedback on usage of these two and AZ NO3... You see the pic above? This is what happened after I dosed Reef Booster and Bio Clean a couple of days ago and every morning, when I dose AZ NO3, my whole tank turns this cloudy. Before I dosed Reef Booster and Bio Clean, my tank only had slight cloudiness whenever I dosed AZ NO3 but this is SUPER cloudy now... Takes about 4 hours or more for my tank to clear up. As for my skimmer collection, it has increased tremendously. Used to be 1/5 cup for a week, right now, it is 3/4 cup within 3 days and it is Kopi O colour... When I dosed Reef Booster, my tank turned this cloudy also for 4 hours before it cleared up. Not sure if other people who used Reef Booster has experienced this before. On RC, there are many threads concerning the use of Reef Booster and Bio Clean/Digest and the one common thing they mentioned is the Reef Booster is super concentrated. One of the reefers there mentioned that you should use Bio Clean/Digest for 6-8 weeks first before starting to use Reef Booster. The reason he gave was that you need to build up your bacteria count before using Reef Booster otherwise your nitrates would shoot up sky high. Anyway, I found that probably 90% of the posts on RC regarding Reef Booster and Bio Clean/Digest were from reefers who keep SPS tanks.

Grow new tube huh? Take a lagi long time if they ever grow another one... Better luck for you to go to a LFS and ask if they got empty coco worm shells to give u...

Good idea. I am exploring the possibility of converting part of my fowlr tank to a frag tank.

For the skimmer, play around with the air inlet hose and also the skim cup position. As for temperature if keeping fishes, you may not need a chiller. If not using a chiller, then get a large clip on fan (~20W) and use it to blow at the water surface in your sump. It should be able to bring the water temp down by 1-2 degs.
