  1. Normally it will regain its colours. But will take time. Do take note that if you have clams, you may need to dose more calcium as they use quite a bit of calcium. Also being filter feeders, you will also have to dose phytoplankton in your tank.
  2. You should see jackys super suns...the tentacles stretch suuuuuupppppeeerrrr long....
  3. Nice rics u have mate... Very clear and detailed writeups on all the corals...
  4. If your clam loses its colour then u need to shift it downwards.
  5. Depends on the brine shrimp eggs, salinity of the nsw and also the temperature. Most people on RC say that they sometimes get less than 50% successful hatching rate. For live bbs, you can actually buy them at C328.
  6. Errr...wat u talking about???
  7. hahahaha...wonder if the bid will hit 3 digits...
  8. No choice lor. Same principle in pasar malam bidding wat. Want rare zoas pay for it lor...
  9. For those interested in the candy basslet, they are still at reborn.
  10. 1 bought 2nd hand lah... Nobody ask u to buy new wat...
  11. Ice bottles won't be useful at all since your tank volume is so large...
  12. What I do is dab dry the pebbles the ric is attached to and squeeze a bit of super glue GEL on the pebbles and then place the pebbles onto the live rock or coral chip. Wait about 20s before placing it in the water for ard 1 min. Then transfer the ric to your tank. Rics will always slime a lot. In fact, all mushrooms slime really a lot but that is no issue. You can put them out of water for 2-3 mins without any issues.
  13. Yup there are bright coloured rics just that they never make their way here due to high demand in the States and in Japan for them. Basically in Singapore we don't get the really nice rics or most other corals because we just don't have the market. For rics, our LFSes will just order mixed colours of rics to their suppliers without specifying what they want as letting their supplier decide what to give them is much cheaper than asking their supplier to pick out the colours they want.
  14. I didn't get the media box. Just put the media into a filter bag and put it in the compartment.
  15. And it has a media compartment that allows you to add a small amount of carbon and GFO.
  16. If you use super glue gel to glue the small gravels on the base of the ric to a live rock or coral chip, the ric won't move. Epoxy is not very effective when u use it to stick a ric with small gravels attached to a live rock.
