  1. U have a 3x1,5x2 ft tank so it would be near impossible for you to go without a skimmer bacause you will need to do very frequent water changes if you do not use a skimmer... The hang on skimmers can be hung at the back of your tank. Otherwise you can get the Tunze skimmers that are in tank skimmers, meaning you place them inside your tank.
  2. tats the hang on back skimmer. Inlet of the skimmer will be in your tank. Pumps and everything else will be behind your tank. You will need at least a 4 in clearance behind your tank to install this skimmer. A cheaper skimmer will be the red sea prizm but performance wise, it isn't as good as the mce600.
  3. If you are afraid of turbulence, then use 2-3 wavemakers placed at different areas of your tank to create the currents.
  4. For skimmer, you can get either an in tank skimmer(Tunze 9002, 9005, 9010 etc) or a Hang on Skimmer (Red Sea Prizm, AquaC Remora, Deltec MCE300, MCE600 etc).
  5. Should be getting a 3x2x2 if I do get one... So when is your reef pack coming?
  6. For LPS, I would say a safe flow rate would be 10-20 times your tank size. This would be based on wavemaker flow only.
  7. Too bad for me, my 5 rm flat does not have a balcony... Will try to get her to agree soon as I'm considering getting a decomm tank set from someone. She's still pretty annoyed about the salt water sprays from my nano tank...
  8. Good things take time... So u going for a FOWLR or SPS/LPS? I'm still waiting for my wife's approval to get a 3x2x2 tank...
  9. Now the only thing missing is your reefpack...
  10. Instrument that measures light quality. You can read the article below for more information. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2006/7/aafeature
  11. How much u paying for the tank and cabinet? So the tank and cabinet will be delivered to you end of this month?
  12. How much for your tropic marine pro reef salt 25Kg?
  13. Tunze 6065 wavemaker has flow rate of 6,500L/hr, so you will need at least 3 for your setup if you want SPS. Also, you must understand that it is non controllable, meaning that the flow rate is constant. A better option would be the Tunze 6105 that has controllable flow rate (using Tunze Single/Multi controller) of 3,000 to 13,000L/hr.
