  1. You're right...some take donkey years to reply...But since Delighting is their dealer/customer, then their response should be faster...
  2. Ooohhh...U emailed them for a reply?
  3. No problem. Prices are from Cathay Photo. Not sure about whether any other photo shops are selling the original and what their prices are.
  4. Doesn't take long to feed...I just put a piece of Silver fish on it and it does the rest... I'm only worried about my suns and super suns now though...Since I went for a holiday 2 weeks ago and came back, they haven't opened at all and some of the heads are dying already. Tonight, I just took my sun and super sun out, put them in a bag each and hung them inside my tank. Dosed each bag with 5in1 coral food and just now placed a small piece of silver fish in 2-3 mouths each of the sun and super sun. Hopefully they will begin to feed and I can save them... Hopefully I can save them, then I will have a garden of sun, supersun and Rhizos... Jacky...where are you??? Can't post a pic of my Duncans though...They are closed at night. Anyway, here's a pic from the net of the Duncan coral.
  5. How high is your tank from your pump? If it is around 1.5m, the flowrate will only be around 60% of the rated flowrate. If you are using an Atman pump e.g. AT-104 where the max head is only 2.0m, then the drop in flow rate will be even larger. If you are using a Resun Chiller, then you should be aiming for a flowrate of at least 2,000-3,000L/hr which means you will have to use a pump rated at 3,000-4,500L/hr flowrate and has a max head of at least 3.0m. If your temp setting is 27 degC, it shouldn't take more than 2 hr to cool down from 30 to 27degC. Subsequently from 28 to 27degC, the time taken should only be around 30-45 mins or so at the max.
  6. How large does your sump tank need to be to put in 100kg of Biohome??? And I think you can put 1,000 fishes in a 3 foot tank if all your fishes are like 5mm in size...
  7. Wah...How can you not know what a Rhizo is??? Here's a pic of my Rhizo...
  8. Jacky, U intending to put any Rhizos & Duncans in your tank???
  9. If your flowrate is 1000L/hr, it is far too low already. You need a much higher flow rate and if you are using a pump/powerhead rated at 1,000L/hr, when you take into consideration the head loss, you are going to get a flow rate far less than 1000L/hr.

  11. If you want to go to the LFS, then tell your gal u are bringing her to see mickey mouse fish...
  12. They are pretty useful and according to what I know, the legs can be gripped round a branch/railing and you can set up your camera to take a photo from there. I considered getting one previously but was not sure and convinced of the practicality of the gorillapod so didn't get it in the end.
  13. There are 4 versions of the gorillapod with different weight handling specifications. You should actually get the one that is around double of the weight of your digicam/Prosumer/DSLR setup. This will ensure that the gorillapod will be stable and your camera will be safe... As for the china ones, unless you are using a digicam/prosumer, I wouldn't recommend you to get it although it is much cheaper than the gorillapod.
  14. What??? U dun know what a Gorillapod is??? This is the link: http://joby.com/gorillapod You can get it at Cathay Photo. There are China made "Gorillapods" also and you can get these at most photo shops like Alan Photo.
  15. Probably Iwarna, Golden Octopus, Reborn. You will need to check whether they have any Aussie shipments coming in around the period you will be in Singapore.
  16. It really depends. Some people I know have kept their freshwater tanks for more than 15 years... If an iron wrought stand is rusty it doesn't mean that it will give way straight away. Unless you see that the stand is rusted through or is going to rust through soon, then you should get worried and change to a new stand. typically a wrought iron stand should last more than 10 years.
  17. You are a reef nooby...then I am not even a reef baby...
  18. It won't go away... The maroon clown will establish its territory and if your percs go near there, they will be chased back. Also, if your maroon clown and percs are about the same size, then the maroon clown won't be that aggressive.
  19. I think it's stated, 4x2x2.5 ft??? But a pic of how your wavemakers are currently placed in your tank would be preferable.
  20. There is a shop in Bugis village that sells blue colour 6W and 8W T5 lights. Not sure if it is atinic blue as it is not stated on the tube but I'm using the 6W tube as a night light for my tank.
  21. I think sale is off... Post pics of your tank when u get it this week...
  22. At other LFS each would be much cheaper than that ridiculous price...
