Cannister filter can be used in marine. I'm using an Eheim 2026 with output split between my chiller & my FR and then return to my tank. However, my tank is only 2x1x1 so not an issue to use a cannister filter. To see if your 2ft tank can be used for marine, firstly what is the size of your 2ft tank and the thickness of your tank? If you want to get a 2ft tank, I think there are reefers currently selling their 2ft tanks in the pasar malam. One pirce of equipment you must definately have for marine is a skimmer especially if you are running it sumpless...

Will ur chiller be connected to the return pump or will it be run seperately? If it is run seperately, then a 1262 for the return and another 1262 for the chiller will be sufficient.

You are in luck!!! I just checked with reborn today and they confirmed that they will have an aussie shipment coming in ard 2 weeks time. Next week they will email me the list of corals with pics after they receive it from their supplier. These will be special order corals which they will only bring in if people indicate their interest. Might have special colour (rainbow, gold etc) acans, walking dendros (supersuns), spiderweb corals etc... Anyway, will need to pics to come in first before can confirm which special corals will be available...

When I saw it at GO, it was also this small size...so I believe it may be small polyps...Some other red mushies had big polyps but not lum red...

I think this is a Bali shipment. Reborn does not have many Aussie shipments... The last Aussie shipment they brought in was a special order from some reefers and they took ard 80% of the corals...

Well you can always check the pasar malam section and see how much people are selling the equipment for. In this way, you will have a rough idea of how much the equipment can fetch. Also the price depends on how long the equipment has been used and the condition of the equipment e.g a chiller that has been used for 3 months will have a higher price than the same chiller that has been used for 3 years.
