  11. Exactly the same other than they are much stronger and can absorb more PO4 and other impurities than what ROWA and other brands can. BRS carbon and PO4 are the industrial types and much better and cheaper than ROWA and other brands. I'm currently running aquamedic carbon which is the same as ROWA except that it is much cheaper. Ditto for the Aquamedic PO4 remover than I am using that is also cheaper than ROWA.
  12. Are you running carbon also? Anyway, the industrial grade carbon and PO4 removers are much better than what u get from ROWA and other brands...
  13. Retail Price $78, selling at $60.
  14. You need to seperate both media in the FR. Pack the carbon at the bottom, then place filter wool above the carbon, then put the GFO (Rowa Phos etc) above it. Reason for this simply is that you do not want the carbon to fluidize because this will create carbon dust and you need the GFO to fluidize in order to have max effectiveness. For me I put carbon and GFO in 2:1 ratio meaning 1L of carbon and 500ml of GFO and I change them out every 1-2 months or so.
  15. What I do is my chiller output returns to my main tank and I have another return pump also. I take it as having redundancy in case either of my pump fails, I will still have flow from my sump to my tank and the chances of my sump overflooding will be reduced.
  16. Mine is the smaller brothers of yours... I'm actually running carbon and phosphate media in the FR...
  17. Should be ok to add fishes now...

  19. Very nice PBT... Chief, not getting huh???
  20. Maybe it would be better to state the amount of water top up in litres instead of % of sump water as this gets pretty confusing.
