err bro the entire structure doesn't look secured at all. Maybe can get normal LR as base and work your way up? tonga branches are beautiful, but I feel generally quite alot harder to scape. (maybe its just my skill lousy though...)

yeah aerating doesn't get rid of chloramine. Better to use water conditioner if using tap water. But best is just get R/O water, the only issue is the waste water produced. You can collect to wash dishes/mop floor etc.

yeah, maybe go for a more reputable brand like eheim than those cheaper china ones... But I will still feed them la... Nothing beats training your fishes to swim up to you and you only when it's feeding time. heh

I'm not sure if different areas have difff water quality. But I have tested my tap water before and my phosphate reading was zero, nitrates 5ppm. Out tap water definitely has chlorine due to our water treatment process. I used to add Prime as chlorine remover. You can also leave tap water to stand over 24-48hr period for chlorine to dissipate.

yeah for working ppl, hard to feed so many times also... unless I get an auto feeder... but then again, the pigs in my tank will prob benefit the most
