  1. There was a ~4.5" one there that still can consider buying at 9.15am.
  2. ahhh... okie tt's what i wanted to know thanks binosage! Sigma 50mm F1.4! ooh so expensive... dang, makes me feel like I shouldn't have gone on a shopping spree this morning.
  3. I'm quite reluctant to use egg crates due to the reflection of light. And have to take into account salt spray from tank, it gets really messy and hard to clean. I tried using them when cycling my tank, gave up on them eventually... The acrylic panel sounds like a good idea, but it will be a hassle when feeding fishes etc. Any thoughts on this?
  4. i say you've gotten yourself a good deal too right? :)
  5. wow so much empty space! next time can ask any bros here to share shipment save cost, save paper, save the trees
  6. ps, I meant any of the fast prime lens. tt's why I'm asking if it's possible for entry level dslr like mine... aye hmmm maybe will play ard with my 55-200 tonight... see if there's any difference. Also borrowed a canon 50mm f1.8 from my colleague, will test it out with my gf's old camera.
  7. hmmm think converter will reduce aperture by 1 f stop depending on which converter rite? Anyone tried shooting with 50mm prime <f 2.8 at ISO 100 and crop? Will photo quality be comparable and will DOF be enough?
  8. lol keep the creative juices flowing!
  9. lol okok coming up soon! My priority now is to do up a netting for some really expensive purchases made in the last few weeks... Anyone knows where to find transparent netting?
  10. flame wrasse season ending! err... what's next!!??
  11. Yes I agree, Nikon macro is definitely not cheap. Well, will stick to my current set for the time being... so many things to buy, so little money!
  12. haha lemon dun jealous la... u got so many flasher males le... dunno why it just sounds dirty...
  13. thx! how's yours doing? Any photos on the brilliant flashes of colour of all the beauties in your tank? thx bro! yeah I was thrilled to capture this piece of action The RG really has one big mouth!
  14. hmmm i was thinking tammy 90 more for corals close up actually, but if it has really slow focusing, then it's quite useless for fishes rite? what lens do you use for your fishes? like the one on your royal gamma? I don't think i will have budget for Nikon lens, any other recommendations?
  15. FW rocks! Bright, stunning colours hellbliss! Let's hope they get even more stunning!
  16. Just had an awesome display of my FW vs. Royal Gamma Camped in front of my tank for 30min to get this couple of shots. Feel the urge to upgrade my kit lens to a tammy 90mm soon! Just a rough commentary on what happened. FW was trying to come out of cave. Royal Gamma decided to scare him off with tt lazy yawn of his. Real meanie! In response, FW comes out of cave decked in his resplendent colours, royal gamma bui song, scare him one more time. Watch the reaction of FW! Really interesting display of aggressive behaviour by both fishes. I love my FW colours!
  17. uh oh... okie i will further simplify again in the next 'tutorial'? lol sigh was looking all over the place last night for my super old cd player but couldn't find it. Really wanna try tt cool mod binosage recommended
  18. hehe bro it's not a useless talent la... any chance you work at MFA? I know they do these kinda stuff...
  19. hehe v. good binosage! there are always alot of hidden agenda / underlying news that we can pick up if we look hard enough. The opposition needs some breathing space, squeeze them too much, and the potential backlash could be disastrous. No matter, I welcome this ruling.
  20. woah bro we need a matured opposition for that to happen. I'm still waiting for ours to show us they are capable.
  21. Now we know how to conduct protest... got guidelines to follow
