I was running MP20 in my 3x2x2 before, there was enough flow alright. But it is definitely underpowered if you want to use it in surge mode to get the wave effect. Since you already have 2x6025, another alternative to the MP40 is the tunze nano wavebox. Gives me v. good wave effect. Yes, it might take up abit more space, but I find it compact enough.

the black piece is where the siphon is. You have to suck the air out for water to enter the black piece, starting the siphon. Only then will you be able to get the overflow working. Once the siphon is established, it should not be broken even when the water level inside the box decreases when you switch off all pumps.

I asked only coz liquid food/supplements are normally just dosed into the tank in a high flow area for wavemaker to distribute to all areas of the tank. We normally only squirt more meaty foods (Like Mysis, Henry's etc.) for LPS and NPS corals to target feed them.

Just wondering, have you read the instructions on how to use these liquid supplements you're talking about?

Google god is my best friend Good point Ray. I also want to point out that many times, we can already find plenty of options out in forums, or through google. With the reefing scene getting more advanced, there will be many more options for us to choose from. Sometimes asking which option should I choose, or which product is better simply isn't as clear cut as in the past. My earnest advice is to do the research, weigh the pros and cons against your needs and make the decision. Btw, chickens can fly too. We have many air flown chickens sitting in NTUC and Cold Storage.
