  1. This rock is so amazing... I can choose to put it in any way I like without needing any support, and every position offers a myriad of choices! Can't wait to put it in my tank... Hope the fishes like their house 'upgrade'. Real estate's pretty precious in my 3ft. Hopefully they find their territory w/o much chasing ard.
  2. nowadays kids so lucky... below 4 yrs get to jet set ard the world Universal Studios to coming to Sg should be a great hit though. looking forward to it
  3. haha not yet, I just placed the corals where ever they don't topple on the rocks right now... Just a teaser on Mt Fuji. Any of you recognise the rock? there are actually 2 rocks i the photo. The big one, with a plate like looking rock on top. I got both of them fyi, this guy's tank is 2.5ft tall while mine is only 2ft And this was in his corner which took up about 1/3+ his width which was 3ft wide. So... like I said... Mount Fuji! With lots of holes to for fishes to hide in and corals to put. Exciting stuff!
  4. alamak should have gotten from u la... I got another one from a bro staying further away... nvm me no big project this weekend... my project's due 1st wk of dec. can't wait to see the new look! My corals all lying all over the place now coz I lazy to place properly... so messy lol bro my current rocks are only 1ft long. not v. big. Actually just right size for 3ft tank
  5. Bro I forgot to ask you... u want any of my rocks? You can cook them if you want to I will be getting rid of them by 1st week of Dec. Open to anyone whois interested. lelong lelong
  6. yucks now we know what lemon's secret fetish is... haha touching monster brittle star's 'skin'... yucks to the max.
  7. what live sand is that? AM should be selling Nature's Ocean and RD sells Caribsea. Both are equally good. Nature's Ocean got some water in them so have to take into acct some of the weight is actually water not sand. I used Caribsea. No problems
  8. chatukchat? It's girl's shopping paradise in BKK. lol next time I go there will make a point to see their marine stores too. Apparantly they bring in lotsa exotics
  9. prob pods. they are beneficial to your tank, don't worry. Some hard to feed fishes survive mainly on them only, so it's a good thing.
  10. yeah I agree. U can skip 2k chalice or 1k tri colour aussie acan lords of course, but stuff like red hot prata still can afford sigh... why did I bring cash into GO on sat!!! Shan gave me v. good discount la... can't help it. lol
  11. I'm gonna take a break until I rescape my rocks. I've just proven myself incapable of refraining from buying anything even though I stepped into GO without wanting to buy anything. btw, you might just wanna look at 3-4 LFS MAX. 2 will be better. LFS shopping can be v. tiring. I went to 4 last sat and was so tired at the end of the day.
  12. Wb Jacky, the shrooms will grow bigger under low flow n light. Mine dun seem to be bothered by sand dumped on them... Still open 4+ inches
  13. Bro ure thermostat spoilt? Time to upgrade la... 4x3x3!
  14. What Reddevilz meant was if you have eos, coz u wun be able to really peer in to check for fishes. But it's a good tip to check ure overflow from time to time for missing fishes
  15. As long as the rocks sit on the sand and aren't elevated, you will need to direct some flow there or it will become dead spot. Egg crate in sand doesn't do much...
  16. I always thought cooking was meant literally. To get rid of any unwanted hitchhiker... I'd you do cook, make sure to add some lr to seed
  17. I hope I never get to see it coming out ever, otherwise i won't come over and take photos le... Haha
  18. If you look at the space constraints in his balcony you will know why he chose to go for ios instead. There is nothing wrong with this...
  19. Just a note, although henry recommended off skimmer for 12 hours, I find tt I had to off for at least 16 hours before the skimmer went back to normal for the first month.
  20. Its actually 1.5x1.5x1 if i'm not wrong Save me trouble of scaping la... just put it there. got mini mountain+lagoon+crevice all included! hahaa the only problem is.... it's kinda dead... hahahaa hmmm I used 60lbs of caribsea live sand. my sand bed's approximately 1-1.5" high. I think you need minimally 50lbs ba. If you getting nature's ocean remember the sand inside got water... so will prob need abit more.
  21. haha how come it seems like wherever the exquisite is, the rhomboid's somewhere in the background? Are they flashing at each other? Will try to go down one of these days to help u take some photos la. I'm going niki's place tues night. see if can arrange something
  22. I have a fluval u2. 6 months old only. Interested?
  23. haha rocks are big la... my favourite one is big enough to occupy about half my tank already. sounds exciting?
  24. lol good plan Take the time to let your tank cycle and learn more about this hobby. Has the sand settled yet?
