  1. agree. Henry's is just too nutritional to flood. Besides the possibility of your suns getting them is lower with flooding.
  2. Your overflow pipe to sump is quite high right? so cannot drain the water into sump? Then yes, drain it out and catch the fish. Might wanna consider shorterning the pipe and installing a valve to control overflow water level and flow rate down into sump. I'm not so expert in this, but I think this way have more control. btw, you haven't done an equipment list yet!
  3. They do prefer meaty food. Suns may be able to survive if you flood everyday, but supersuns n rhizos have bigger appetite.
  4. wow bro so fast add 2 maroon clowns? not scared they terrorize your future additions? An easy way to catch your fish out of the oveflow is to drain the compartment till water level is low. This way, can just scoop out the fishes even with your hands!
  5. Haha if you find someone interested to buy my tank then I will letgo my wrasses la... Otherwise I also cannot sell my fishes. Btw if u r just gonna transfer ure rocks, still need to cook?

  11. I think reddevilz just fell back in love with deltec skimmer or if you cann afford, go for the king (bubble) If you have the time to spare, look through member threads and see their sump designs and the thinking and the common problems.
  12. you need a netting soon. Something's spooking your wrasses. Better do one now tt u have more lights!
  13. You can read through the discussion here. We discussed this and agreed it will support 2ft max. Lazy to go back and find.

  16. Crude method of testing: as long as hand put on fixture can tahan the heat means is ok. If buitahan then LED confirm burn in no time.

  19. WAH no wonder so many ppl pm me to scold me! I complain to mod! err... mod corrupted lei... how
  20. true percs also aggressive. In fact, these aggressive fishes will display their true colours once they get settled in and regard your entire tank as their territory (coz small). Tangs... not only poop machines, but outgrow your tank quite quickly. And some are notorious in nipping corals too. If I were you I wouldn't get them too. Get clown gobies la! small and cute and low bioload.
  21. me sua ku... what's the meaning of aussie rics? Craft, I'm quite sure your stocking up will cost as much, if not more than ure startup
  22. wah how come never add in first? The LS be affected when u add sand?
  23. Don't be mistaken. LED is also hot. But the heat doesn't come out from the bulb per se, it's more from the back. Tt's why they have heat sinks behind to draw it out and fans.
  24. Haha so smart... Coz gotsome idea wanted to implement... Guess will only do it next time when I get my own house:)
  25. I suggest not to keep falco. Almost 99% of all owners regret getting it. Don't limit ureself. I gave mine up coz not willing to risk my prized fishes
