I believe your tank is 3ft? 4 tangs could be problematic in your tank. Sounds like Ich magnet to me. I think the lack of swimming space can contribute to the stress, not to mention the high bioload. Pls watch your nitrate and phosphate levels. Were the fishes acclimatized properly? That can be another contributing factor. Anyway, tangs generally take some time to get used to the tank before swimming in open view.

I think my other moon coral might be this other kinda favia, Never notice any tentacles coming out, v. peaceful. In general, I think they make v. good additions to the tank with their bright colours. Will be hunting for more of these!

bro I may be new in this hobby, but I think your scaping should be fine already. Don't touch anymore! Slowly stock up your corals and build the tank from here. Its like gardening, got slope, got contours, hilltop, cave, ravine blah blah blah, at the end of the day, good scaping involves more than just the rocks itself, but coral placement, and good husbandry.

lol my beta box is open, it always swims in to perch on the pipe. In fact, when I'm feeding, its usually in the box... Just ignores anything that goes past it. I've tried live brine, so many varieties of frozen food, all also don't work. The past week has already been an improvement. At least it swallows food like once in a blue moon and spits it back out. And instead of hiding in the rockwork, or at the corner of the tank near the waterline, it is starting to mingle at least with my juv percs. Nothing to do except continue doing what I'm doing and hope for the best I guess? The only problem I have to fight with daily is my increased algae, sandbed's back to brown again. At least my nitrates and phosphates are well under control for the time being.

Can someone tell me how you feed your yellow clown goby? Mine's still surviving after 3 weeks, although I don't see him eating any of my food during feeding time. Stomach doesn't seem to be v. sunken. Or am I mistaken?

Update on my new fish additions for the past month: 2 baby nemos! Got these juv true percs from Joe_p. They are currently housed in my beta box with a huge insulation pipe as their host. They refuse to come out of the box even when i've opened up the sides. Will force them out when they are bigger. The chromis are still bossing them around. My Yellow clown goby... the source of my anxiety, and current algae bloom... Still refuses to eat when I'm feeding. I think somehow or rather, it's finding some source of food which I'm not aware of. Or maybe it has turned vegetarian. I'm still rather pessimistic on whether it can survive in my tank though.

I really dunno how to capture the colours well. the green really looks much better in person Sunflower Zoas from Reddevils. Really beautiful frag! Zoas from Hellbliss. (anyone can ID?) Starting to see a third polyp growing out!

just to for kicks, decided to take a quick snapshot of the favia.

omg bro lemon, your favia tentacles go much longer than 3" with my night lights... The longest tentacle I'm seeing so far is 4-4.5" long under my night lights! scary!!! so just wondering, is there anything I can keep near them? like other favia? or hopefully hammer/torch?

If it's dead or almost dead, nassarius will definitely come hunting for it... my nassarius climbed up to my top rock before! Although they seldom do that la... how many nassarius do you have? I think if you can't see any of them especially during feeding time, high chance they have another source of 'food' inside the rocks.
