  6. i used tap water , drip from a bott with a pin puncture at the bottom of the bott (diy), with no problem to fish n corals. But all my stuff r hardy. If u keep sensitive stuff then u gotta consider using filtered, RO or distilled or Newater I add cal, sodium bi, n magnesium together in the top up cheers

  10. i got my rbta as a baby with 3 tentacles (yes 3 only) measuring about half a finger nail. In about 1.5yrs , i got (ie multiplied) 4 adult rbta , of wh i sold 3 . from this experience n from sharing with others, - strong light is impt (rbta with shy to shade if its too strong though), n good flow. cheers
  11. can try flushing with tap water for 1 minute. also add iodine, sometimes iodine depletion can cause zoas to close cheers

  13. hi jeff, tks, its not odd actually . Mine, cus its not in a bright area has long tentacles, but is also splitting now Its not optimum conditions but will still reproduce. BUT pls dont try putting it in the sump, mine died n so did many fishes, cus it release poison cheers
  14. water change did help in mine, cus water condition wasnt good. Got to check if there are other causes eg, a big bully fish around, water conditions, etc
  15. tks bros max n james - ur comments confirm it. my experience is exactly that. when it had strong light the tentacles was nice n round bubble tip, then when i shifted to a shade area, the tentacles got long n stringy.
