what happened was last night i got this german ATI lights n when i turned it on,,,,, wow like as though a blind man could see........n the colors of the zoe n everything was so bright n colorful. my wife always say my tank is so brown n no color, so i guess its nice to hear from others

hi all, this tank is 1.5years old n have many many of these worms?? that use the sand to make their tube n they come out n dangle like white thread. what is it n how to get rid of them? not very good pics, hope u can see the tube rising up from the sand n under the rocks n the thread-like worms straying around. Thanks for ur input

hi bro, i use a vacuum cleaner. its the normal siphon but got an attachment that is attached to the inlet entrance. usually this comes with the siphon as a set. its a bell shaped attachment, u stick it into the sand, n wowww u will see the amount of accumulated dirt that in the sand bed!!!!

i have been using for about 1 year liao. have been doing all the above but this time after cleaning, it started exiting fine bubbles into tank. i have also used white plumbing tape around the o rings (as solo77 said). maybe i will try strip it apart n give everything a good scrub. tks for ur inputs

problems - not skimming enough, n fine bubbles going into tank (although i put filter wool as the exit ot skimmer) Is it the propeller need to change? 1+year old liao. Thanks for ur comments.

hi bro, there r so many ways to sterilise the rocks - all the above mentioned. For my aptasia i use a pointed knife, when u lift the rock up usually the polyp will danggle, take the knife, cut off as much as u can, then with the pointed knife (or a wire sometimes), carve into its burrow n scrape. Make sure u clean the ap off the rock cus its quite sticky. Happy reefing but u cant boil ur zoe n sps, right?
