  5. Hello folks, i used both chiller & fan. I have to top up 1.5 ltr twice daily. The reason for using fan is to reduce the chiller kick-in time hence i lower my electric consumption. Another point to note is the tank locaton. The more windy or open area will have less evaporation. Cheers,
  6. Hi folks, wish to trade a newly brought USED Skimz:Sidsea FR for a bio reactor or a new packet of bio pellet. Pls pm me if interested. Thanks,
  7. Hi folks, i am using both chiller and fan. I notice that the evaporation is much higher than just chiller alone. But on the bright side, the fan helps to cool & maintain the tank temperture, hence reduce the frequency of the chiller kick-in. One way i reduce the electric usage but spent more on distilled water.
  8. Sad to hear this bro. However if do nothing, the fish will die. My advice is to net it out wrap it with a wet tower, press it firmly and try to dislock the jaw with a spenser, grip the lower jaw stretch out and push back slowly. It should be able fully close if the alienment is correct. Hope for the best. Cheers,
  9. Oh dear, mistake here. The salinity should be 1.025 & ph 8.35. I am sorry for the errors.
  10. Sorry for the late reply. I am using NSW. Current perimeter read as PO4 = 0.5 NO3 = 10 Salinity =8.3 temp = 27~27.5°C. Currently dosing Redsea NO3:PO4-X Reducer to inprove the water perimeter.

  14. IMHO, the Mandarin fish is the most difficult fish to keep in captivity tank. It is also very stressful for reefers to have one starving fish keep looking for food in their tank. I would strongly appeal to importer to stop import this cute n beautiful fish. Support me pls.
