Marble, how was your long nose hawk fish now? Did you clearner shrimps when missing.? I just read your msg. I had 2 of such. They of cos feed on mysis and shrimps. But as day goes by, i notice my cleaner shrimps are always hiding below the rocks. a week past and all my clearner shrimps and fire shrimps are gone, I have 4 big and 2 small clearner shrimps. 6 fireshrimps all went up heaven. let me know your fate.

i have a male blue throat too. eating well and swiming well among my very agressive Tangs and Angels. They love shrimps. Mine from ML too. very gracious.

count yourself lucky when they feed. give them some time. Soha also very greedy. Will eat anything in time to come.

fishing in your own tank sounds very dangerous. fish out a pricey fish means bye bye.

DjSamuel, you really need to find out more before you start a tank. Marine tank is really unlike fresh water tank, you need to have a passion for it to have a successful marine tank.

it helps. for me at least. I turn it on 24hrs. Less Algae and fish seems to enjoy my tank better. Try it. Please buy the highest possible u can afford. It will never go wrong.

try wet food ie blended shrimps or mysis. Do a range of food but dun overfeed. I hope your water condition is good.

let me add something: the yellow eye tang is good. pick my rocks until very clean.

tomini tang is a very nice fish. I had 3 of these...not cheap also. But they all kana bully until all Saints now....... the best algae control is the magnet cleaner...hahahaha

KTLK, i also have a shorty5000 but the work in action not really great. Wonder anything spoilt ofr my skimmer. And also, where did you get those outlet pipes? i may need to get them.

the plastic plants look good...but beware in the near future...algae will grow on them nad make them unsightly..........

UV will not stop ich...i have a turbotwist 32x...the largest i can find...but i still see ich at times when i intro new fish. Having UV is better than not having it. If you can afford, please get one. But u ask me....it stops algae growth in my tank.

tell me something....i bought a AquaMedic Shorty II. Cost me alot but the skimming and bubbles seems weak. i am very dissapointed with the product. Use a macro even better results. sigh.....

My clearner shripms breads in my tank. It was a sumptious meal for for fish. They will crowd around the shrimp and wobble up the fries.

u can get anthias there a fraction on price that was offered here. i bought 8 sunset anthias and 6 Barlet and 9 starburst.........the challenge is they are bag at packing. U will never believe i spend less than S$60 for the above.
