Hi, turning to all the experts for advice. have the subject tank keeping LPS, clams and maybe some SPS later.My questions: 1. If for MH light, preferably 2 units, what sort of power shld i look for? 150W per light or more 175/250? 2. If using commercial spot light or so called flood light, what sort of power to look for? 3. There is this something like 14K/18k? light intensity? If so, base on the above what do i loook for? 4. Can LED actually replace MH for the same purpose and can it have that sort of shimmering effect? once agian, thanks for all your time and effort.

Hi, can anyone advise on the subject? manual stated recommended flow rate 1200 to 3000 l/h. i am currently using 1200l/h ehiem. remember read somewhere hailea 500a need higher flow rate? the temp indicator on this new chiller keeps fluctuating, from 26 to 27.3 within seconds and back to 26.. at times, below set tem of 25.9, next o.1 n 0.1 up in less than a second before reaching 27.3 and down again...is this normal? thks in advance for your time and guidance. Thks Kanegan for sharing. I received the same advice from reefcrazy when i took over his tank. I remembered to pump air in the sumnp tank with the old bio ring and ball. Only started with a wear off pump that put little air but changed it already. Appreciate u guys sharing with me the infomation, otherwise in for a good shock.

for faclan, for your info, 500+ litres is already 4X2.5x2 ft. hope this helps
