Just to share a pair of watanabei angelfish that I added 2 weeks ago... both from CF, feeding very well on pellets... sadly the female didnt make it few days back... it suddenly became "shy" and before i know it, came home one day to find it lying on my sandbed... how sad... here are some pictures i took when they first arrived.. the male is still around, always out in the open... will be looking out for a new partner for him... photo taken using iPhone, do bear with the "blur-ness", fishes swim too fast sometimes...

single digits? i'm surprised ur gf have not skinned you alive yet... you should be able to recover all once you clear your fishes.. so whats next after the conspic? have to drop by ur place someday to view it, never seen it in person before...

got inspired by Klyve's "Nano" inside sump concept.. decided to do something with this empty space i have in my sump.. any ideas? 1) pack the compartment with beautiful clams? reduce the level of sand 2) collect different kind of gobies? 3) keep slow moving LS like seahorse and pipefish? and no i dont think i'll convert it into a frag tank.. haha...

i noticed the tux urchin in some of your pictures.. beware of it munching on your coraline algae... i didnt realise until one day when i saw a white patch in the middle of my 'purple encrusted' rock... other than that, its an excellent cleaner..

some questions whats the name of this SPS? my RBTA used to be small and nice, over 2months it has grown so quickly! it seem to have lost its "bulb", could this be a case of insufficient light? Before: when i first got it thank you all for your input...

some of my old LS from my previous 2ft cube, brought over to my current 4ft tank.. so glad its doing well, growing strong and bigger than before when i first got them.. Have all done well under the TLC of mengyang_neo's care... thank you bro Purple Death Palys grown from 4polyps to what it is now, didnt bother to count, just glad to see its growth... Maroon Monti SuperSuns, one of my favourites.. very tempted to get more... one head of Blue Spotted Mushroom, grew from a 5cent coin size to a 50 cent coin size

some new additions: is this a rock of Acan? got this at a good deal at AM Green Plate i noticed this plate is always on rocks, will it do better on rocks or the sandbed? Orange Plate Larmarck Angel one of my favourite fish in my tank currently.. cant take a clear picture of it at the speed that its always swimming at... now my next target is the Bellus Angelfish, let me know if u guys spotted any in LFS... mini collection of zoas from bro Thairun

long way to go... after 4 ft, next year i'll go for 6 ft nahhh.. i'm kidding.. hope to see your 2ft up soon... bet its gonna be another potential Nano TOTM material... thanks desi! intial plan was for my 4ft to be a FOWLR tank so i can collect all the Huge Angels and Tangs... but everytime i pay a visit to any LFS, if any LPS/SPS caught my eye, cannot resist myself not getting them.. haha.. yea and lots of real estate, have to slowly fill it up... not enough moolah... lol... you mean i should create a "high-low" effect with my rocks? i tried creating "caves", some 3D effect which cannot be captured from the front... but then again, i always suck in scaping.. always turn out unnatural.. the only thing i dont like about reefing is rock-scaping

FTS for September pardon the poor photo taken with my iphone.. just took a snap shot of it before i left the house, didnt find the time to come online to upload it up.. still very empty... espcially on the right side.. will take a close up shot on all the LS when i have the time... meanwhile if there's any room for improvement kindly advice.. scaping, placement of my corals, choice of fishes.. etc...

looks exactly the same as the male, but without dorsal fin.. The reason why i would buy a male mandrain is also because of its dorsal fin! hahaha..

if im not wrong that Black Tang is bigger than your AT... or maybe around the same size... cannot imagine what will happen if it went in.. haha...
