i do feed them meaty food as well.... so i can make do without the liquid food? not necessary right?

currently using 5 in 1 liquid food from Aquapharm.. bottle about to finish... thinking of trying other brands.. any other good brands to recommend???

wow.. didnt know there is a cap of volume per day... will take note.. the day my readings changed was the day i was filling up my new tank with water... used around 10pails... after the 3rd pail, the reading shot up...

before i purchase any from LFS... would like to ask anyone got any leftovers of the above to spare???? if there's sufficient amount left i could purchase it from you at a price.... thanks...

can i say that after one month since the addition of my LR, if ammonia and nitrite readings remain 0, it'll be safe to add LS into the tank?

roger that! finally understood what you guys are saying about the die off part.. so dosing bacteria will be a way to counter the ammonia spike hopefully?? i'll be testing for ammonia and nitrate daily with testkits... thanks for the info on ammonia alert, took down the expiry date, expires next year june

hmmm.. even with live sand and live rock it'll cause a spike? how long does it take for ammonia to spike? monitoring closely with ammonia alert everyday.... using Aquapharm Instant bacteria starter to dose weekly..
