have you thought of nassarius snails? i've been looking all around for them... only got 3 from a reefer recently who just decommed... dont see them very commonly in LFS... i was told before that CF have a few, but when i tried pronouncing the word to auntie, she gave me a blank stare.. haha..

you can try to switch off the pump.. (pretend there's a blackout/cut in power supply) see if the water level overflows... if it doesnt, you can paste a masking tape, or make a marking at that particular water level... so whenever you change water, or top up water, you wont pour too much water in that in an event of a blackout, you will flood your place.. i hope you get what i'm trying to say.. haha
