you can also try purchasing Crystal Pro DI filter to change your house tapwater to distilled water, faster and easier than going to shops and dragging bottles of water home.. haha.. before i bought the DI filter, i was buying distilled water from NTUC.. housebrand.. i think thats the cheapest so far... during my cycling process, i didnt change water at all for almost a month.. after ammonia and NO2 are undetectable, i did a 50% water change (at the end of ur cycling process) and thereafter i added in my first LS.. a pair of common clowns

but normally after molting it'll take about 1day to come out.... and i think they always molt together.. this time only saw one.. haha.. anyway, i hope that one particular shrimp is somewhere out there hiding... doubt theres any predator in my tank.. all my fishes are all harmless.. unless its stuff hidden within the LR which i dont know...

got this from a reefer who recently decommed.. when it opens up its actually quite big for my 2ft cube.. almost covering all my mushrooms at the corner.. so decided to let it go... $5 PM me if you are interested... by the way there is 2 heads of it on the rock.. the other head is on the other side of the rock, not clearly seen in the picture...

i saw zoas in the tanks with LED lights before.. the ones infront where they place their clams and some nicer corals..

one of my cleaner shrimp is MISSING for 3days already! whats going on? now the other one is all alone.. haha... they used to be so irritating together whenever its feeding time, now that one's gone, i notice that the other one doesnt go crazy during feeding time anymore... could it be dead? if so, why cant i find the body? and what would have caused its sudden death? all my other LS are doing quite well... so i found it wierd that i couldnt find it on sunday... 3 days passed, still no sight of it...

what i meant was... as long as your tank is cycled well, even if there is the presence of ammonia or nitrite, it should be converted to the less harmful nitrate... because of the "good" bacteria present...

if your tank is cycled well, there shouldnt be any trace of nitrite or ammonia... no matter what you throw in...
