i know MH is a better choice, but not feasible to have one at my place.. placed the clam at quite a high area in my tank near to my T5... it was doing fine for about a month until i came back from my trip after one week... wow... very impressed by your seahorse/clam tank.. i've only got one K1 wavemaker, but i direct it down towards an area of deadspot.. i hope the seahorse wont be affected too mch... according to the seller its trained to feed on frozen mysis.. currently still in my QT, wont release him till i really see him feed... thanks.. i learn from every mistake i've done.. so will you be getting another clam?

clam officially RIP shall look around for another clam.. maybe this time, a bigger one...

sad to say my clam seem to be dying.. after my one week trip to vietnam, i came back and its colour seemed faded.. its getting lighter by the day even though i start to feed it everyday.. i dont think it can make it.. told my maid to feed my fishes before the trip.. but i forgot about my clam! how careless of me... haiz.. crossing my fingers now, but i dont hold much hope....

hey guys.. any dog farms/shops to recommend to get dog food at a good price? my dogs are currently taking ANF food and i've always been moving around different shops/farms to get them..

NEW addition to the tank.. 01x tigertail seahorse got it from Peong.. he has got a nice collection of seahorse.. this will be a new challenge for me.. currently in bettabox, i guess its still stressed after its long trip from punggol to bishan tried feeding it just now, didnt respond... shall let it settle down, hopefully it'll start eating tomorrow... took a quick picture.. didnt want to stress it too much.. will post pictures again once it has settled in my tank..

actually i kinda target feed it.. i always pick this particular area that my mandarin hangs out, squirt some out.. no doubt other fishes will be there to grab some of it, but it'll chase after the frozen food and peck on it..

not sure about spotted mandarin and green mandarin, but i used to keep 2 green mandarin.. one male one female.. have to be different sex, if not they will fight.. as for training mandarin to eat frozen, i'm sure there're many success stories from other reefers out there.. the mandarins i got are already feeding on frozen when i bought them..

used to face this problem quite awhile in the beginning as well.. as your tank matures and water stabalises, it should go away after awhile... do monitor your PO4 and NO3

i've a male green mandrain that i got from Henry.. initially feeding on his gorment food.. but very quickly, it started to accept both frozen brine and frozen mysis...

i was in Vietnam for one whole week... totally missed out on this movie ever since its release.. heard nothing but good reviews on it, esp the 3D version.. i hope its still screening in cinemas for me to catch it this weekend... i wear glasses, so that 3D glasses sometimes will get into my way... but i have the tendency to always remove my 3D glasses to view the movie once in awhile.. itchy hand... end up getting more distracted over my pair of 3D glasses instead.. haha...

no problem its a nice frag.. i need some blue in my tank if i can afford it.. haha.. happy bidding..

agree with what peter says.. intially i was also faced with this problem.. i reduced the flow that is gushing down from the top... noise reduced... if i let it just gush down without control, the guggling sound would be quite loud....
