  1. thanks.. right from the start i wanted to try a copperband, but just couldnt find one that was feeding..
  2. pair of true percs in my betta box.. not sure when should i release them.. both already feeding well.. just the small one a little skinny.. i wonder if i release them, will they be paired? any signs from the betta box that i can look out for that they're paired?? i've not seen them fight for the past few days, so i guess is everything ok?
  3. NEW ADDITION 01XCopperband Butterflyfish got this beauty at ML.. one greedy fish feeding on henry's food and frozen mysis.. went crazy when henry was feeding his tank of copperbands, so i grabbed it... i paid about 5times more than the market price, but no regrets so far.. kept it in the betta box for about 2weeks to ensure that its feeding well, released it last night... now have to monitor it.. hope it doesnt eye my zoas.. (i've got not many to begin with anyway.. haha) just realise i've got 2 time bombs in my tank.. FA and this copperband.. hope they stay guai.. and remain guai.... i'll ensure that they eat everyday, so they will think twice about tasting my corals
  4. hows the RBTA? could it be the cause by any chance?

  13. its been 2 years.. any new updates on ur current tank? hope you like the clowns i really like one of them.. the one with thick black lines.. very nice... but have to give up sadly to make way for other clowns..
  14. +1 saw those behind... amazing! didnt know they can have so many combination of colours.. first thought was they were all dyed.. haha.. wonder how much does one of those cost...
  15. thats what i read at RC too.. they'll go thru a period of fighting... but so far so good... shall monitor for about a month... i just hope that they paired up, its fine if they dont spawn, i wouldnt know how to handle their babies anyway.. haha.. nope.. i placed them together in the betta box, hoping that since they're confined in a small area, the chance of pairing up maybe higher.. (cos they're added in together) i wont remove them if they're not a pair.. i placed every new fish into the betta box to ensure that they're feeding before i release them.. however in this case i'm hoping that they will pair up.. the tendency for the male to jump only happened on the first day.. could be due to stress... i hope.. i shall monitor over time.... thanks for the advice bros
  16. hey bros.. i understand this topic on "pairing of clownfishes" had been brought up a few times, but after doing a search, the results i read didnt really gave me an answer... i was at CF today.. bought 2 true percs seperately.. the bigger one was actually a paired one, but apparantly the male died, so it was "alone" in the quarantine tank.. auntie was kind enough to let it go to me... got a smaller true perc from those small bottles below... it was packed into 2 different bags.. when i reached home, placed both of them into a betta box.. didnt see much fighting, but the smaller one had a tendency to jump alot.. i've read different methods of pairing clownfishes up.. first technique being introducing 2 juveniles together. With this technique two small juvenile clownfish are purchased at the same time and introduced into the tank at the same time. The fish will establish a dominate submissive relationship as they mature and eventually form a pair bond. however the bigger clown i got from the tank above, i doubt its a juvenile. how do you tell if its a juvenile by the way..? this method would work for me if you consider the bigger clown i got as a juvenile... second technique of cos is by adding a new clownfish to an existing clownfish.. this however wont be the case for me as i bought both at the same time, and i'm currently housing them together in a betta box... so, my question is, after reading what i did, will my true percs eventually pair up? (since the female was paired up before, and the male died after that) how long do u think i should keep them in the betta box together? thinking of 1month.. too long? too short? kindly advice, and thanks for reading all the way till here
  17. Priority will be given to more established tanks.. Very greedy pair.. Feeds on everything, mysis, brine, henry's food, pellets... etc.. Reason: Making way for pair of true percs and black clowns Collection in Bishan Interested kindly PM me..
