you may want to check your PH meter.. after some time you may need to calibrate it.. just a possibility, assuming if the fault lies with the PH meter, no matter what you do you cant get your desired 8.0-8.3

coincidentally, i actually borrowed 2 books from the library to read up more on breeding about 2 weeks ago.. i still have it with me, and surprisingly the guides/steps are clearer than any information that i can find online.. if you have the time can rush down to your nearest NLB for a search CLOWNFISHES A guide to their captive care, breeding and natural history (639.377) The Complete Illustrated Breeder's Guide to Marine Aquarium Fishes (639.342) from what i read, dont worry if this batch of eggs fail... clownfish will breed again and again after their first one.. so meanwhile if you're serious about trying, i found these 2 books rather interesting and much more helpful than the websites i googled

your fishes look good and healthy.. facing same problem as me, blue tang getting abit too big, very hard to catch it out because of the rockscape..

just a suggestion, if the plan is not to cut down members.. how about splitting the group into 2.. not really 2 seperate groups, but in terms of where we stay... for example, the east and west.. those staying in the north/central or south can join either group... during shipments, if there're frags to share, at least it would be easier for reefers from the same area, to gather/meet up to share frags... as for exchage, of cos we can give pirority to the group as a whole.. just a thought.. personally i dont have nice frags to trade with everyone here i'm in this club more to the point of sharing frags.. but if you eventually still have to reduce the group, i believe most of us would respect that decision.. not easy to be a Chief, kudos to you for taking up this responsibility!
