Anyway i put the 15w uv light in my refrigium tank with my clowns in it. Just afraid it may be overkill n kill the clowns instead of curing them

Hi , would like to ask for dome advise. I recently have a outbreak of white spot in my tank. After adding a uv light in sump tank, white spots on tangs cleared off quite alot. But my pair of clowns still quite affected. This morning i have shifted them to the sump to see if it will be more effective anot. May i know how long can i on the uv light for?
