common green slimers, not the ultra shiny types. large frags of 2 - 4" with multiple branches at $10 each collection at tampines

due to my lack of care and busy schedule, as well as to clear space letting go the whole colony at $20 (previous frag price) colony size 6", i'll provide plastic bags but you may wish to bring a container. former glory now its light brown, colours should come back with tender loving care. still healthy and growing, no tissue recession. comes with one small goby hiding inside the colony collection at tampines

looks like a superman monti? except that the polyps are brown. in any case my guess is that its probably a Montipora danae

i can't really see from the picture how the box works but maybe you could hook up a small pump moving water from the sump into the box and letting the water just flow down like a waterfall from a hole or gap or something. my experience with small pumps in small tanks is that they then to heat the water up. having water move from the sump is as good as having a skimmer and chiller for your yasha tank.

there are plenty of skimmers out there that would fit the bill, the only drawback i see is that based on your sump compartments, you may have to sacrifice the larger comparment on the left to house the skimmer's larger footprint. you can check out brands like skimz, reef octopus etc an alternative would be the HOB models like deltec mce600 which may be able to squeeze into the remaining space in your cabinet.

changing water with distilled water? i think you meant changing with distilled water + salt mix instead of tapwater + salt. with the removal of no3 and po4, the existing hair algae would slowly die off (also with the effect of stopping new growth), so in a sense you are getting rid of the algae just it may take quite awhile for everything to die off. manual removal + low nutrients + the help of some cleaning crew (for hard to reach places) seems to work best for me, but even then like i just mentioned, it still will take some time to remove all (or almost all) of the algae,

the sump looks good just that the skimmer maybe a little too small for your tank? if you're looking for cleaner water could try giving your skimmer an upgrade

from the shadows, the eggcrate seems to be blocking out quite a fair bit of light! especially since you're using led. perhaps you can consider doing a nicer (less conspicuous) cover using chicken wire etc to match your clean, rimless tank image

i don't know if an acrylic tank is the best idea, but there's a video on youtube of a mantis putting a hole in a plastic fish trap / tank and escaping..

you can try turning off the less essential equipments like skimmers and other fr pumps etc to reduce the heat output, leaving just the return and wavemakers. an airpump could also be used to help aerate the tank just in case. ice in sealed bags in the sump would help to lower the temperature even more without lowering your salinity, but you would need to watch the temperature to prevent over cooling. hope your temperature problem fixes soon
